No problem , glad I could help you 👍
Where did you get those red beads from?
From Christchurch angling centre 👍
@waynecoco1 Thanks for comming back to me I appreciate it.
Hi, hoping to start up fishing again after an absence of 20+ years and suffering a heart attack last year, fished pembrey several times many years ago, where do you park your car, we used to fish up by the old wreck, park tge car in the furthest car park and walk over the dunes, it seems since the change of usage and the caravan site inside all the car parks have changed - could you help, please
Hi derek I’d usually park in car park number 1 as you drive towards the beach take a right on roundabout to the furthest parking spot and walk over the dunes .
Cracking Upload well done and see the measures still going strong tight lines
Thanks
Not aloud to keep them till April 👍🏼👍🏼
cry about it
Where in Norway is it Wayne. Superb video. Nice to see a venue where unicorns ( cod) can be reliably caught
It’s bodo Dai
Well done Wayne and Lee. Proper Swansea fishermen using local bait. Where dya get the mudrag?
Thanks . Down lougher
Whoever removed its tail
Gets bitten off usually by tiger sharks
Stubby
Someone very close or they did it. The wound was still fresh, and you can see the blood in the water.
I can tell you that we wouldn’t do something like that !! That’s how the fish was caught .
You do know you just stuck your fingers in it’s eyes
If I did it was an accident lol , they are pretty slimey and hard to handle
@@waynecoco1 You handle a ray or skate by his mouth.. You never turn them upside down and you never pick them up.. You stick you 2 fingers in the mouth and drag them into the water.. They are too beautiful to kill or injure.. Unless you are going to eat them
Actually those are its spiracles! Located just behind the eyes of a ray, they are important for how rays move water across their gills. I hope you released this beautiful creature or found a nice home for it 😢
I can assure you this ray swam away strongly and was returned just fine , if I could of picked it up differently I would of , your hands just slip off any other way
@@waynecoco1buddy trust me you don't have to explain yourself to these people you did the best you could in released it that's good enough
Just tied my 1st loop rig after watching, followed your method and it was easy as @&£# !! Good tip to hang it, then crimp it. Cheers fella
Great stuff , good luck 🎣
Where can you order the tripod cups mate cheers
Hoping they be on the market from January 2024
Good effort on a difficult rough sea and it was good to see you had fish. 👍
Thanks , wasn’t the best of days but stuck on in there 👍
Funny how their fish stocks are booming, and they come to the uk to trawl and rape our seas innit, yet no one's allowed to trawl their seas!
Wayne I must say your videos are the most informative ones I have seen on YT. I have just returned to sea fishing and along with my teenage son and he is glued to your videos. Like you I live and fish in the same areas and your videos have really helped us both. Just need to learn some watercraft now. Diolch
Thank you for the kind comments , I may bump into you on the beach sometime . If I do be sure to introduce yourself please 👍
For those who don't know the diameter of all mono's (me) could you give a breaking strain also that would really help? Thank you
About 15-20lb
Would you use this rig at Ogmore estuary?
You be better off using a fixed pat or pully rig on ogmore buddy 👍
@waynecoco1 hsve you done a video on a pulley rig?

The best lee , I can’t wait to get back out there 👌
Nice video
Thanks 👍
Un saludo desde Sevilla....👍
Un saludo desde Swansea 👍 Muchos Gracias
I often catch 'four coalfish'.. ..otherwise known as blanking (depending on your dialect/pronunciation)..
Hia mate, is there a way of predicting problems with weed, it was totally unfishable when i went down, is there a time to avoid with certain winds or tides?
Stick with the smaller tides , and the weed should be clear in about 2 weeks . Lots of may bloom in the water at the moment . Hope that helps
I move to a different beach or different part of the beach or wait until the tide switches around. If it's not too bad just fish through it. On Whitford....if the weed is bad facing north switch to the L bend facing west usually works. If one end of Pembrey/ CSidan is weedy try the other end.
Nice video
Thank you
Happy days coco

Sorry guys just realised had comments turned off . If you do have any questions please ask 👍
Well explained I am off to make some much clearer than I have seen before great video cheers
Thank you for the comments , good luck 🎣
Very interesting rig thank you.
No problem , good luck
What line’s you using mate
Maxima chameleon , yuki invisible and amnesia are my go to lines
Great video. I am just taking up inshore lure fishing with a 30lb braid mainline. What break strain would you recommend for a flouro / mono leader?
Depends on what your targeting , for bass try some yuki inviable in 0.3
What line are you using? When you pick up your rig it seems quite rigid/stiff. Reason? Golden greys seem to be appearing more here in Hants/ Dorset so aim to give them ago… thanks
Can’t remember off hand but it may be yuki seagur stiff Fluro carbon . 👍I use it more for presentation and the way the bait moves in the tables of water
That’s what thought just liked the way it moved. Where as I normally go soft, must give some a try . Many thanks 👍
Love the rig pity u can't make me one 💯💯👍👍🎣🎣
Give it a go , any questions just ask here . Good luck
Hi Wayne, hope all is good and you’re keeping well. If i wanted to make this a 3 hook rig, am I right in assuming the spring would be at the top snood with another cascade swivel for the second snood down and then the bottom snood as you’ve done it in the video?
Yes that’s right one spring at the top . Good luck
Big Thanks, made two rigs up didn't have size 2/0 hooks so had to use size 1/0 and 0.7 line but still worked well, I caught five Bass and three crabs.😀👍
Well done and thanks for your report 👍
I've made Bagnall Bars and the monofilament version as you have here. My one modification is I use a stop knot below the spring instead of a crimp so it is adjustable and the rig body can be re-used several times with a new snood
Yes that’s a good tip Ian thank you for posting
