Hey this video really really helped me out. No dealership or shop would do this repair so I had to do it myself. Thank goodness for your video.

My car just started to knock a little when turning. I thought it was a bad ball joint. I jacked it up and moved the tire around, no play, so took off the wheel to get a better look. I muscled it all around and saw no play, but there were no set screws in the rotor. I wonder if that could cause the knocking. Doesn't seem like it because the wheel holds the rotor tight when it's on. Just was surprised to see no set screws.

Why would you not put them back in? Is it really too hard to put a little anti seize or buy a $10 impact screwdriver from AutoZone? In all actuality it doesn't even matter if you put them back but if it's a customer you better just put it back like it was.

Of course customers cars always get every screw, bolt or clip put back, just wanted to see opinions. I know a lot of people that refuse to ever put them back in, never said I don’t put them back in, if I have to drill it out. There a tap and die for a reason haha

@@PerezAutoRepair i do brake jobs on a daily basis, always put them back unless the head has been gnarled up, copious amounts of copper grease doesn’t hurt either, no need to drive tham in with an impact or even a large ratchet, smallest 1/4 inch you can find just snugged up will do the trick

They're pretty much there to facilitate automatic machinery it's a factory on initial installation so that they're sure the rotors Titan place and the robot can fit everything correctly after that any mechanic that works on the vehicle should remove the rotor anyway if you can and make sure there's no for matter behind its own as a flat seat the only issue really with leaving screws out is it a possibility of dirt for matter whatever getting behind the rotor and and the and the seat where the it's a hub and creating a condition that is known as run out
