This is beautiful. What trail was this near Sitka?
Mike - Gavan Hill-Harbor Mountain Trail. The Gavan Hill trailhead is located at the end of Baranof Street. The ascent is steep - about 2,000 feet in less than 2 miles. After that trail breaks above treeline with spectacular views. It finishes at the top of Harbor Mountain Road (you must get someone to pick you up as it is a long walk back to Sitka). Amazing walk
