I have a 2022 Rav4 Prime and I decided to take a look at the 2025 CX-50 hybrid top trim model at my local Mazda dealership and as soon as I opened up the back to see the cargo area, it was a solid pass on this model for me. I obviously expected some less room than my Rav4 Prime in the cargo area, but it was so noticeable that I couldn’t envision getting that much less space compared to my Prime. The CX-70/90 PHEV models do have the adequate cargo space for my needs, but the EV range and hybrid MPGs are atrocious compared to my Prime.

Sorry to be pedantic but you can't measure an electric motor in KW hours only the battery. It would be like saying an engine was 10 gallons if it had a 10 gallon tank attached. Electric motor power is measured in watts or kilo watts for a vehicles generally.

Actually physically the cx50 hybrid has been raised up to fit the hybrid battery system. So yeah it will look slightly different from regular cx50

I think if theyda just bumped each of them up by 100hp and went up a trim, itd make some kind of sense. Like $60k for 590 hp scat. $75k for 770hp banshee. $110k for 1100hp ???

Got the new redesign 2022 pro 4x. This truck has never let me down. 60,000+ miles later. With some decent off-roading as well. Little jealous of the sick new slight redesign.

Sorry....the front end is uglier than the 2024 Too much cheap black plastic below the grill Has that Toyota Tundra vibe. Not digging the black plastic on the tailgate either.

I was considering one when it was said the pricing would be similar to current models in a $30,000-40,000 price point. Not interested any longer if the price is going to be near twice that in the $50,000-80,000 range - especially with its low EV driving range in the 300 miles per charge. There should be other sports car looking EV not too far from when these eventually get released.

If they get rid of the pro 4x logo on the side of the truck it’ll be a much cleaner look.

I wish that Mazda would have used the 5" of additional length vs the CX-5 to give another 1.5" of front legroom and 2.5" of rear legroom.
