Good day sir can I ask why does 2 considered as the smallest number in index?
Hi... In the conversion of radical to exponential form (fractional exponent) we place the index in the denominator of the fractional exponent while the exponent of the radicand is place AT the numerator. Now, if we assume 1 as the index,it is as if we are just dealing with a whole number since all numbers has this imaginary 1 for their denominator. Remember, radical is the conversion of the expression with fractional exponent, thus 2 is the smallest possible index for a radical expression. 😁😉 Hope you already subscribed to my channel. Do the same thing the roots will cancel out but the only problem is if the whole equation has a scaling factor!
