    Just unplug each coil pack individually! When you unplug it if it’s working it will idle up, then back down! After 100 miles it will just dismiss that cylinder, and you will never know hHa

    Wait......while its running through the check valve over to the cold side, where's that water going? Is it back-flowing into the city pipes? Then when you turn the cold water on it should come out hot for awhile, right?

    Nice video....Great idea for the circulation pump. In our situation part of the house was serviced by the circulation pump but not the kitchen (where we mostly need it far more often). I put this on the most distant sink and poof....the other 2 sinks that are inline are hot immediately as well. Our circulation pump has a timer or you can let the self-learning program do the job. For the most part the self-learning is working well enough for now. We unplug both the circulation pump and turn off the breaker when we are gone for an extended period.

    I just did mine today in about 90 minutes. It’s kind of a pain but I was able to remove everything without breaking the clips. Once you remove the nuts that hold the spoiler you can get a piece of 1x2 or something thin to slide under the spoiler from each side and just shift the spoiler around til each clip pops loose. Again I had this done in 90 minutes and could likely do it in 30 minutes next time.

    what if your house dosent have a ridge vent or soffits but only gables

    • @kungfoochicken08
      @kungfoochicken08 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'd add soffit venting if you can. This will help the gable vents by introducing another intake system. Ideally, you want 1sqft of NFA per 150sqft of attic space. You can't really have too much intake venting though. If you have gable vents, you just want to leave more space uncovered towards the peak of the roof to make sure the air can freely flow from behind the Reflectix into the gable vents. I left about 24" on each side and that worked well. You also want to leave some space at the bottom (maybe another 24") to allow air to flow into both the attic space and behind the Reflectix.

    • @akanesoratobu8889

      @@kungfoochicken08 the soffit vents unfortunately my house isnt made with one .i did call a professional one time and he told me all he could do is add one of these th-cam.com/video/sUaYv-cGxro/w-d-xo.html on top of the roof will these work? Also would adding air created by a fan also work? I was thinking about adding a fan on one end topush air to the other side, while the other fan pulls the hot air out. and thank you for the help

    • @kungfoochicken08
      @kungfoochicken08 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@akanesoratobu8889 Those work well. I’ve actually used them in one of my rentals. If you plan on installing a new roof soon, you can definitely get them put in. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re going to replace your roof though. You’re talking about replacing at least three rows of shingles, decking underlayment, and drip edge. It won’t be cheap. Your idea of adding a fan is a much better idea. You can either add a fan to one of the existing gables, or you can add a solar-powered roof vent in the middle and use the gables as intake vents.

    • @akanesoratobu8889
