Tommy is crazy for bringing up ggg’s win percentage. If I got to face Uzbekistan and Oman every friendly window I’d have his win percentage too
NO MLS bum coaches !
Mate you said that playing in Brazil or Argentina is the same thing that play in MLS??? 😂😂😂 unbelievable…
Forever Forlan. More than a striker. The Diego from their side of the Rio de la Plata. Then Suarez, Cavani, Núñez.
Mitch will be known from hence forth as Monsieur Goulet
Tyler at 13:00. I felt this. I just want people to care about this team and it’s so hard to do right now.
Pain. Gregg should be sent in exile to Kazakhstan. Still hurt.
If you want to know what the problem is with this team. Look no further than the shot of Gregg being pissed about Balogun scoring that goal against Panama. Why would that piss Gregg you ask? Because Balogun is supposed to hold up the ball and hand it off to someone, Pepi got left off the WC roster for this exact same reason. When Gregg was asked about Pepi getting the start in Friendlies before the WC. Gregg says he needs Pepi to play within the system, not score 5 goals. Gregg micro-manages everything. He doesn't even let us run counters. He is on the sideline always pointing for our mid-fielders to pass it backward instead of countering. He needs to go.
1. Why are 3 of these fools wearing sunglasses inside their homes at night? 2. Stop blaming the ref. No excuses. 3. #BerhalterOut
What did Barton do wrong? Please, I’d like to know. Reply with events from the game where he didn’t perform correctly.
I’m pretty sure they already said it. When he didn’t give a card for the challenge on Matt Turner. He lost control and the Panamanian players knew that for the rest of the game, they could get away with going full on CONCACAF. It might’ve also influence the lack of composure by Weah.
This was great, good show guys. First time listener, subbed. I’d like to see wright play on the left and Pulisic on the right, balo at the 9, Reyna in the mid, along with Adam’s and Musah. Robinson, ream, Richards and scally. Pulisic will have space on the right, scally won’t be forced to push forward as much.
Yooo love the content. First time listener
All fault for the USA team that’s why weah apologized.. good luck with Uruguay I don’t think you guys are going to the next round with all the contacaf teams except Panama the USA team let that happen..
this is the meme of the 4 kids sitting at the table but the question is “How do we get rid of GGGGGG”
Yeah, and that needs to be the boardroom inside the USSF.
Felt the pain with the fellas, still not over that game
Excited for the new era fellas
On board 🫡. Work tuesdays are much better with Sam’s Army
Germanic tribes and Napoleon existed like 1000 years apart. Also saying you’re of French descent as a reason for choosing France immediately delegitimises your take. But it’s the English who are the “mental midgets”, right? 😂 good podcast nonetheless.
my grasp of world history is just enough to be dangerous and not one iota more
#COYS!!!
Last year took a toll on me, but just know I haven’t forgotten about #thedanglies and how I would’ve sent an update. The way that game ended, didn’t warrant a “rub it on a spuds fan face”
A+ work from Sam to avoid any Tottenham talk
Of course Tyler ducked this week… At least I don’t have to hear any LFC glazing now 😂
Shocker that Tyler wasn’t available after that Liverpool performance…
In Arteta We Trust 😤
W Dan. Love em get em back
Y’all might wanna make the video shorter, this is a bit too much
The OG gang (-ish)! Missing Mikey
PGMOL is such a sham. Absolute horrific decisions throughout the whole season. It has such an effect on the title race. I'm hoping Sam's Spurs can make it right down the stretch and beat Arsenal and City.
God Tyler is insufferable talking about Liverpool
All my homies love “video 2 253 preview”
Love the pod boys! Where can we get those long sleeve Sam's Army tees?
Thx brother! White and black both available at www.samsarmy.net (hit me on IG with any Qs)
No idea how I just found out you were on TH-cam, Sam. Nice to see y’all’s ugly mugs
Jurgen doesn’t like you either Mikey. Lol
Grats on 10 yrs, here to 10 more
Sam, man of the people doin the pod while on vacay, or just trying to get away from his family to have a sane moment to himself. Either way, thank you for your service 🫡
dalton sippin cows, love to see it
Sam commenting on Mikey’s niche while simultaneously getting dopamine hits while he sleeps at 3am from Fotmob notifications for Aussie soccer. Maybe one of the funniest things I’ve ever listened to last week 😭
tbh I was not prepared to face this truth bomb
Sweeeet🥰
10000% agree with Tyler wanting the US to be in group of death, CONCACAF is a joke and this would be a massive challenge! That being said, only reason US is in pod 1 is because we’re hosting.
MLS or Nothing.
MLS players got shafted in COVID with a renegotiated CBA in order to play that year, because the TV deal was so poor that the owners would have rather not played that year. The deal went thru 2027 so they could cash in on the 2026 boost. A strike could work and be great for the league fan wise
Tuesday morning = Sam’s Army
sams supporting sams is a beautiful thing
Chelsea has a ton of positives lately, don't know what that rant was about. This podcast has a lot of potential but every team is talked about from the reference point of a supporter instead of objectively talking about positives and negatives. It gets exhausting when they don't like a team. It's the same reason people don't like listening to announcers that clearly favor one team over the others. Put your spurs bias aside and it could be a great podcast. Never heard a single positive thing about Chelsea on this podcast.
To be fair, there have been a lot of nice things said about Chelsea on the pod over the years -- just not lately. A big reason why (apart from our openly acknowledged biases), is that there hasn't been much nice to say. There are things to be optimistic or hopeful about -- eg, Cole Palmer and all the other talent they have bought, and Poch being a proven HC (imho) -- but even you have to admit they have been pretty consistently playing like butt for a long time now. As to your point about putting biases aside... some of us legitimately try to do it, but it ain't easy. Almost better to simply acknowledge your biases and let listeners decide if/when biases are clouding opinions. On an unrelated but related noted, I suspect there will be a little more Chelsea fan representation here and there in the future. Either way I appreciate the feedback, and thanks for listening. -Sam
MLS doesn’t take MLS seriously. Simple as that
As an AC Milan fan, I can tell you why the club sold Tonali and it’s not because of his gambling issues. Newcastle wanted Tonali and were willing to triple the wages of what he was making at Milan and pay a 65 million euro transfer fee in order to convince him to join because money talks in modern football and it was an opportunity for our front office to use the funds from the sale to reinvest in the squad to compete in 3 competitions. Plus there’s been no evidence to suggest that the club knew because Tonali did this behind closed doors.
Gregg may be too "hands on" for a National team. The players at the National level only spend so much time together during the international windows, there's really not enough time for them to learn complicated systems. Just put out the best 11 and let them play.
Tyler shredded Sam. Tyler is right! Thank you Terens, YNWA.
Did Tyler sneaky reveal “Sam’s” real name in the heat of his rant!!??
his last name is obviously Army
Sam’s brain was mush this episode, switched his GOA for a bet at the end
#guilty
Keep longer please. But no need to touch on this weekend anymore, I think we can just talk about next week on the next one
