    The crown on the road wears the tires a little uneven.

    • @Degenhardt450
      @Degenhardt450 ปีที่แล้ว

      The camber of a road is around 1-1.5 degrees. The uneven wear on a tyre is on the side, usually around 8-10 degrees. Uneven wear is by measurement due to some out reason. I hypotheses that it is actually due to the fact that right hand turns are longer than left hand turn, resulting in more wear on the right side of a type. Any other ideas would be welcome, but must be supported by evidence in order to be valid.

      Yep it is still good, but I haven’t been able to use the boat as much as I would like, due to COVID-19

    I was glad to come across this video at first and followed your instructions to a tee, but the mistake we both made I found out later was you only undo the pinch bolts on the right (none ABS ) side as this allows the sensor to remain in its position while you remove the shaft bolt. Having put everything back in place and switched on the power my ABS warning light started flashing. According to my local BMW dealer, that's why! Know I have to book it in to have it adjusted or replaced if its damaged cause its touched the disc. Should have read my manual fist.

      Sad to read that, you do have to be careful with the ABS sensor. However, I have taken off the front wheel of other bikes the same way for many years without any problem, go figure.

    Every Big Duck hull comes with a compliance and specification plate affixed to the transom. This plate includes the required CE / ISO numbers that are needed for registering your hull with your state's transport department. HIN codes are only supplied with powered vessels. Big Duck does not manufacture power solutions, only the hulls themselves. To confirm, there is no such issue with registering Big Duck hulls.

      Thank you for setting the record straight. I was concerned, but now I understand more clearly and feel comfortable purchasing and registering with my local transport office.

    Hi Andrew, here’s my experience with registering the dinghy. First of all It didn’t come with a legit Australian Builders Plate. The number that comes on the plate attached to the transom is a random serial number that does not correspond to anything. So I had to find an agent to verify i.e issue a new boat code for $91 and get a boat pink slit that is required by NSW registry to proceed with registration. Normally seller issues you with such document here in NSW. So be prepared to pay about a $100 extra on the top of what you paid to those “experienced” “Australian” (according to their website) boat sellers to be able to register you dinghy.

      So I've had my BigDuck for about a year now and when I got it registered I had no issues. Just let them know it's a China make and should only take about 15mins

    • @tork1984
      @tork1984 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      frankie of course no problem, only thing missing is a proper HIN, so you need to find an agent to issue a new one for a $91 fee in NSW

    • @tork1984
      @tork1984 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andrew Degenhardt the only problem the boat doesn’t have a proper HIN and an Australian Builders Plate. You’ll need to find an agent to issue a hull identification number for extra money and this is it. Please share your experience in Vic once RTA is open over there

    Hi mate, did you have any problems registering the boat? It looks it has a tricky builder's pale?

    • @Degenhardt450
      @Degenhardt450 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ivan Panfilov not a problem, the build plate is on the inside of the transom. When I made this video, the boat was unregistered, as this was the first time I unwrapped it and I didn’t know what to expect.

      @@Degenhardt450 Thanks for the reply Andrew. Yeah, I got mine this morning and was wondering if it can be registered, as the plate doesn't seem to be an Australian Builder's Plate (ABP). Which state have you registered the boat in? What did the rego authority tell you about the plate not being a standard ABP?

    • @Degenhardt450
      @Degenhardt450 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually haven’t registered the boat yet, VicRoads are shut down for covid, but I was assured reg wouldn’t be a problem.
