Hi, I just video the ones of friends out there or ones we come across, but for that budget there will be plenty, livable is a relative term though lol, most agents charge about 5k+ to sell a house so it's nice to find an owner, you need to visit really for a while. There was one in juncal do campo for 36k, I'll find out if it's still available, thanks Mark and Samantha

I wouldn't bother with just rough land that's isolated, way too many homes with big gardens in villages for little money, starting from 20k with work needed to 80k for sorted homrs
@stephenboyd4934 I understand what you say, but what if you only have 5k, there loads of properties but not many come up this cheap and this location is excellent for amenities, thanks Mark

what Portugal seems to be missing is a skid steer track loader, best tool by a mile you could have in all those places n plots. The work of ten men in no time.!
Hi, sounds like a plan, alot of the well used tracks have a grader run through but this access is an off shoot which will only get worked on if enough people are using the lands, I think only the neighbour comes down it, hope this helps, Mark

@arildjoessang2914 it'll be rustic, we've had ours changed to urban on purchase, cost 1000 euro as did solicitors fees, hope this helps ,ta Mark

It was very easy. We just asked for a change of purpose for the building and the lawyer started the paperwork immediately, no surveyor anything. You might be able to talk to a lawyer b4 purchase because it depends on what you want to build.

What a lovely property. I know caravans are expensive to buy over there, does it definitely come with the land? Non permanent structures are readily accepted I know but it's nice to have somewhere that you know you can cook, get clean and sleep in, straight away
@samanthabiden276 yes it definitely comes with the land. And yes caravans are expensive, there's probably €3500 worth in it plus a good few quid for the structure over it. All ready to go

That's a lot of money for a relatively small plot of rural land.

@@yorkshiretoportugal if there's no possibility of converting some of the land to urban, then there's no legal way to live there, so you kinda end up with an expensive gardening plot.
It's a very expensive village...and prices are going up...but if you have loads of money then buy a house
@@Jan-lb2sf what has the overall prices in the village have to do with that plot (that let's be honest, most of the times are inflated just because foreigners have a higher income), which seems to be rural? My question/observation was, if one could apply for reallocating at least some of it as urban, so a building permit permit could be issued and getting a habitation license at the end of everything. Living on a rural land is simply not legal here in Portugal (sure, people do it, or there are a few workarounds where one could spend a maximum of 10 months/year there, if they are registered for a title that grants "Estatuto da Agricultura Familiar" and stuff).
If the pole is made from wood, it's probably not electric. They put the electricity on concrete poles, as far as i know.

We haven't got residency so can't really advise on that but I'm sure you'll find all the info you need on the internet. Sorry we can't be of more help on that one.
So no urban article? I guess anyone interested would need to employ the appropriate people to look into that. Having just a temporary structure used ‘permanently’ is, I believe, a bit dodgy legally 🤔 Perfect size land for those of us wanting a solo venture 👍🏻

@@yorkshiretoportugal I meant to ask if you saw the big house with large roof terrace in Palverinho, that was on a few realestate sites? With your back to the cafe you take a left at the pink house and it's just a few houses up before the " bungalow". I think it was only about 50K.
