Very rare for a replica company to exist for such a long period. Clearly ERA has done something right

I built an ERA Cobra in 1992 and I loved it. I had a 427 Sideoiler and a top loader 4-speed tranny in it. It was a very good replica and was well-engineered. I went to their factory before I bought one to make sure they did it right. The only issue that threw me was when I went to install the two air vents for the foot well I could not figure them out. No matter what I did they were backward. I finally called ERA and asked about them and was told that they had redesigned the pull knob that opened them up to be pushed in when open instead of closed. The reason was the car was so hot that no one ever closed the vents and ERA thought the car looked better with the knobs in instead of out on a metal wire.

FelPro 1246 or 1247 gaskets will almost always fail! They redesigned these gaskets with a steel insert which cures this problem! 1246S3 or 1247S3!

In 2005 I saw a Pantera rally on the road to Vegas up from Kingman. That was neat! Kit cars rally I'd laugh at.

Hard to say how much work it would be to restore without looking underneath, but judging from the condition of the interior it doesn't look like it's been sitting out too long. The bright work looks in pretty good shape. Just wondering if there's collision damage, but it would need to come off the frame anyway.
