About Emerson: it seems that his approach makes people happier, feeling lighter. That's beautiful, although imo it has nothing to do with enlightment, falling away of the me or whatever you call it. Thereby I sense an agenda in the way he operates: - wanting to be special: over and over telling his own story, continously overtaking the other one's story with a more special version. - wanting to be succesfull: being the guy who's helping the most amount of people, people that searching for the longest time (50 years!!), and helping in the fastest way (3 minutes!). And thereafter continously claiming that the search is totally over. For example: I heard him several times telling he had a live meeting with 100 people and after a few days no one was searching anymore. Made me laugh, yeah right... Besides it feels he's using people in his videos to show the world his rapid increasing number of succesfully helped people, no matter what. For example: watch the recent video with Rebecca. For me it's very clear she needs some mental help, not a guy who gives her a sticker with 'search is over'. All together his approach/energy gives me quite a bad taste in the mouth. The word narcism is coming up several times watching him. Btw: I'm curious if this comment will remain standing. Because on Emerson's channel any criticism is not allowed, is my experience. :)

Good points, Sander! There is no me and no you, so there is no one in control of anything that appears to be happening. Speaking is only an appearance, wanting to speak a certain way, is only an appearance and what is said can never describe what is actually happening, because that is unknowable, since there is no one who could know it. So it doesnt matter what is said or how it is said. Its just a happening, and if its happening, its what is, which is beyond judgement or knowing.

Also, there is just what seems to be happening, and whats happening is only an appearance. Its not whats actually happening. That is unknowable. Ultimately, there is no Sander, no time, the world is not real, nothing has actually happened and nothing can be judged, good, bad or neutral, because there isnt anyone who knows anything who could accurately judge anything. Another way to look at it, is that life is suffering, shooting things is ending their suffering, so if you believe suffering is evil, shooting would be good. But, both life and suffering are appearances only, no one is freely choosing to do this or that, everything happens automatically according to what is predetermined by variables beyond our understanding, and no one is in a position to judge how things should be, and so no conclusions can be drawn about either. So I agree: Judging Sander to be 'unenlighted', or a 'barbarian', is just what seems to be happening there. For no one, by no one and for unknown reasons, and it was destined to happen exactly as it did, no is to blame for it, and its not quantifyable or quallifyable. Its just what is. A mystery. Cheers!

While I do appreciate the view (or non view) expressed here I dont think it withstands the various tragedies that befall human beings. Do such words alone "help" in the midst of overwhelming loss and grief? Because THAT is how I measure a path, method or teaching. Does it help when circumstances are profoundly difficult? Does it help when someone is dying in your arms, pleading for help? Does it help when your young child suddenly dies? Does it help when things are NOT comfortable or "middle class?" Does it help when things DON'T go according to plan? THAT is my measure of a teaching. So while I respect your expression of the true nature of the "present reality" as a non dual teaching, I have to say it is not enough. In this world of sorrow, loss and endless tears, I believe we can do more, and I think we have to. ❤🙏
