We're a family of four (Jazz, George and our twin baby girls Rory and Skye) who have left London behind to follow our dream of a new life in France. We've bought a 200 year old rundown farmhouse in the Provencal countryside complete with 3.5 acres of land and are lovingly restoring it to become our family home and gites.
We're passionate about sustainability, have a desire to live off the land and are embracing the challenges living in a new country brings. We can't wait to share this journey with you!

They dug a TRENCH down our entire driveway

Unexpectedly, the local council dug a 150m long, 4ft deep trench the entire length of our driveway, blocking access for any trades people, which couldn't have come at a worse time! We also lost our childcare so we're doing all the building work WITH our twin babies from now on! #farmhouse #renovation #livingroom #demolition #france

Week 1 of the renovation of our farmhouse in Provence and we started by demolishing the existing kitchen and bathroom and removing the previous owners' belongings (don't worry, we saved anything we thought could be useful).
