First Pilot Lesson | Flying from Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto
มุมมอง 1.9Kปีที่แล้ว
There are few perspectives that can truly capture the beauty of Toronto like a flight departing/landing from Billy Bishop Airport. Several weeks ago I got to take this experience to the next level by actually being the primary pilot through a 45 minute lesson at Island Air Flight School on a Cessna 172. While I've played Microsoft Flight Simulator quite a bit on my Xbox and have flown drones pr...

Are baby boomers breaking the real estate market? | Rylie's Review
มุมมอง 1292 ปีที่แล้ว
An article by the National Post entitled "Aging in Place: How Baby Boomers are breaking Canada's real estate market" that came out earlier this year made the argument that the Baby Boomer generation (those born between 1946-1964) are creating a bottleneck in supply for housing in Canada & thus are responsible for the current housing crisis we are experiencing. I would highly recommend you go & ...

    Heres what i sent the orgwnziers This bike ride if yours is incredibly disruptive and intrusive to a vast number of people in this city. The philanthropic benefits are dwarfed by the inconvenience. It really is for you and your privileged, entitled patrons to feel good about themselves. I will be contacting my councillor to do everything in my power to make sure are no longer able to pull this nonsensical stunt in the future.

    Great job with the video! Ive done this route many times and you filmed it very well, though there are axnumber of lovely sights that your itinerary missed. Also, the route from Hamilton to St Catherine's is best done through the Jordan Valley....way nicer than service roads. I should say that i almost skipped your video because of your channel name....i think you should devote a separate channel to bike videos, as you are great at it

    I'm considering a trip from West GTA to Naples. Did you rely on Tesla's navigation for your route? I noticed you stopped 7 times to charge. I own a 2022 Model S, so I assumed I'd have fewer stops. However, my nav suggests 9 stops. Any insights?

    Great perspectives. I work in an office building with only 6 floors and 2 elevators. For the last 12 months during COVID, one elevator kept breaking down and the parts would take over 3 months to arrive from China. It's a weekly occurrence that someone will get stuck in the faulty elevator for an hour, so it has been mostly offline. The remaining elevator was limited to only 2 occupants at a time, due to COVID distancing requirements. The queue, especially at peak times like the start and end of the work day, was ridiculous. As it was only 6 floors, most chose to use the stairs, relieving the congestion (not an option in a super tall), but there were still queues. Imagine living in a taller building with similar issues? What if you had a dog? I walk my dogs twice a day and they have a backyard and a doggy door. Imagine apartment-bound pooches on Floor 50 that just need to have a wee, with elevator breakdowns! Really makes you think about only buying/renting apartments within easy reach of the street.

    • @TorontoLuxuryCondosandHomes
      @TorontoLuxuryCondosandHomes 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That wouldn't normally be a part of an offer. You would definitely want to look at the Status Certificate & Condo Documents of the building though to see if there are any lawsuits/issues with the development.

    I would be surprised if the cables were slapping the walls. Every high rise elevator is equipped with what they call earthquake rings. The cables run through them and if there is sufficient movement for the cables to touch the rings then the elevator shuts down. It is a safety feature in all high rise elevators.
