God Will Never Let Go | Sermon Clip | Pastor Lorne Hlad
I sang this song together with the choir while listening to this meditating on the lyrics. It was an inspiring experience. We are all created for the glory of loving and being loved. Thanks be to God.
This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. John 15:12
“Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”” John 13:35 NLT
A staple recording. Wish it were live with an energic crowd from the 70s.
why the singer doesn't wear the mask? or better said, why these guys wear masks?
When I was a kid in catholic school this song was what I decided to live by well I have tried as we are all sinners. Pet peeve people that keep telling me they are Christian’s like saying it alone makes it so.
You kinda ruined the song.
All to often we forget we are the only Bible some people will ever see. If we are hurtful and hateful what does that do for spreading the Love of Christ? Jesus loved us even while we were lost in sin. Let's love others the same way.
I'm 51 and this song has surfaced to my lips occasionally since I was a kid. The words often remind me to stand out as a minority and be different in loving others when it can be so easy to criticize. I know my testimony can be diminished if my anger surfaces and I put my personal preferences/rights in the forefront. I'm very grateful Good Shepherd Church recorded this song. It is truly a wonderful blessing and encouragement to worship with other believers in the body of Christ at anytime I need it when my local church doesn't have a worship service that day. The vocalist, Amara Clough, has a truly beautiful voice. God will work through her in many meaningful ways in future years.
The unofficial Jesus Movement anthem!! I still love this song!!
do this again in the wake of the 2024 elections, no masks this time, God Bless

Summer camp Putnam Co. NY 1970
Back in the early 70's this song was one of the anthems of the Jesus People. Good rendition. We had some good music back then. Your group sounded a lot like we did back in the day.
Thank you. God bless.
Amazing performance. Too bad about the masks.
Shalom, from Brazil
Praise the Lord!
I remember learning this hymn in 1st grade. I'm a senior now and it still sounds good. She has a lovely voice. ❤
So glad the song still speaks to you! Thank you!
❤❤❤ I’m not catholic I am protestant I’m sure any denomination of Christian’s can sing this song gods good
I was raised Catholic and am now Protestant, but I still enjoy this Catholic hymn along with "The Finest Wheat". Give that one a listen. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. ❤
As a lifelong Lutheran member of the Ohio Synod and a former member of Good Shepherd, these kids were incredible in delivering their own personal message about their experiences with God in New Orleans. As a former youth leader for Luther League, I had the privilege of accompanying a group of high school students to Purdue University many years ago, for a Lutheran Youth gathering that I have never forgotten. May the grace of God and the Holy Spirit be with these students along life’s journey ❤️
Amen!
I’m so glad the nonsense of masking is gone. May we learn from past fears. Great song! Well done!
