Oh im so digging this. Wish my friend from college Dan Droogan aka the Milkman was listening to this. Hes a huge fan of Boards of Canada and Carbon Based Lifeforms. So Im subbed whilst thinking of him we had the best times on that beautiful beach at college Harlech, in Wales. Where St Davids golf course is. (FYI the college was a governmented bursary college and the tutors lost the grant and funding and had to tear the college block down so its not there anymore but the orignal part if the college had veen there since the late 1800s 1890 if im not mistaken with psycology and sociology, pyshics, english lit being the common studies being taken there back in the old times and gradually introduced art and design, sociology, music technology, digital design and also help you get more better grades if you were bad in your GCSEs excellent college but the tutors were to greedy and were stealing the bursary money left over in the year and not putting it back in to the new year, shame really. Allcthe students knew they were in so much debt because if this and had to close it down, shame it was a beautiful beautiful college the main buildings architechure was gorgeous ) but anyway doing stuff like this by the beach campfire, with jacket potatoes roasting on the fire with cheese and beans and sausages, with our homemade milkshakes. Ahh now you know why he is called the milkman. He was addicted to all flavours of milkshakes. He never drank alcohol. But he put a few vitimins in them strawberry milkshakes for us all at the college. 🤫🤭Well he was live creating stuff like this on his laptop using ableton live 8/9 and his Akai midi pads and keyboard, I was playing my eletric guitar with loads of reverb on my interface on cubase, linked to my battery powered monitors. With a few other friends with acoustic guitars and bongos and there was one kid with an acoustic bass guitar. The college was mostly empty after 8pm to go to the beach to sit round the firepit and get drunk and listen to us all play, I recorded and create all on the fly so did Dan. Seriously it was the best creative experience of my whole life. I will never forget it. So thank you for your fantastic channel it truly reminds me of the great times of 2008 so from one musican to another, THANK YOU BRO!. Keep up the excellent work.
