Max network performance of W5100S is 25Mbps, but it depends on MCU and SPI operation.

We'll be happy to infom you about sample availability in March if you'd like :) 2. Yes, the Pico can still run w/o the cable, which also depends on your firmware design. 3. The initialization must be outside of the loop and we recommend to operate the basic communication within the loop; however, this also depends on your application and firmware. 4. Yes, you can connect the cable later!😊

A buck converter to power VBUS/VSYS takes a reasonable amount of space on the PCB. I'm already amazed at the small form factor of this board. I'm planning to use a cheap PoE splitter.

It seems to have gone back to 7.0, but it seems that we should check the 7.1 version again.
