Saturday we race 35ft yacht manic around the Isle of Wight. it was the 90th anniversary of the race and almost 1200 boats entered! the race is one of the biggest sporting events in the world. I've never seen so many boats in one place! our start was 7.30 the wind was around 5knots from the SW and due to build through the day. we finished the race in 7hours 50 minuets. First time looping short lines not as windy as I hoped but it was still awesome and probably a sensible wind strength to start with. Now ready for some low loops next time when it's windier
