I am creating this channel in honor for my mother who passed away in 2015. She collected piano music for me throughout my life & I now have a huge collection of music dating from the 1920's & on. In addition, I have a great deal of classical, Broadway, New Age, Jazz, etc. that I have collected or purchased due to my two piano performance degrees & teaching career as a college music professor. One of my fondest memories & current enjoyments is playing the piano while family & friends gather around to sing or just listen. My mother used to sit in a chair next to me & we would play & sing for hours. She & my father are the main reason that I developed a love of music & ended up having a career in the field. I retired 12+ yrs. ago from being a full-time music professor in Illinois & retired to Las Cruces, NM where I was an accompanist for music students at NMSU for 12 years. I recently began creating programs to play at senior living centers & to share on this channel.
