From what I observed this man fought the best of the best, he also fought under different rules & beat opponents Nationally & Internationally, the proof is in pudding 119-14 he earned the right to be called the "Thai Killer".
Very unorthodox style with sharp punches. Since most of the Thais were short tempered, and stubborn they almost never found a way to counter it.

Poor sportsmanship. But in those times many Thais had their matches half won just by pure intimidation and fear of their low kicks. The Thai looked pissed but also confused, Gibson got into his head.

@@Scientists_dont_lie Yes if a fighter is afraid, he or she won't be able to perfomed 100%. I always thought Gibson was actually not intimidated, but he overcompensated and behaved in this manner. For example it is not unusual that thai boxers get flashed knock, they are knock out for like half a second and then they get up like nothing. Letting the referee give a protection count was not in Gibson's benefit so he kept going the referee step in and by the time Gibson backed the Thai was up the referee set them up but the Thai boxer did not actually got any respite with the count started with Gibson still shoving the fighter.
You saw how the low kicks were ineffective against a trained martial artist

Manson shows that Taekwondo do works for a real fight.
He cross trained in kickboxing and shootboxing you won’t find people like that in your average taekwondo gym

@@Desh681 People think that he has a bias against TKD and Karate, which is just not true. He has 2 videos dedicated to Manson, one for Steve "super kick" Vick, and has a video detailing Joe Rogan's TKD kicks along with footage of those kicks actually being used in combat (Manson is included in the footage as an example of how side kicks can be very effective). He also has a video for Andy Hug if I'm not mistaken

Cung Le looks a lot like Kiatsongrit. Gibson had a very unorthodox style, hard to pin down his timing. Both fighters are greats of the early days, both deserve respect.
