An interesting painting technique that I had not seen before. I could not help to notice the similarities between the end result and a blue painted dresser that was recently restored by @madcitymodern to it's original finish. I totally get that different people have different taste but it was ironic that one person will strip off everything added to a piece by someone else to take it back to the original condition. Many refinishers, including myself, will only paint a piece of furniture when it is bafly damaged and needed a lot of repairs that may be hard to conceal. I also think that whatever works for one is fine. If this kind of finish sells well in your market, then you should keep on doing it. On the other hand, if one restores furniture for the love of the craft and is not concerned with making a profit, taking into account the time spent on it, that is also fine.

It looks great. Some gold glaze might look nice on the flowery details on the top drawers

I think a chip brush makes a much betted wood grain than those wood grain tools

I would have taken the wood detail pieces off. With the really modern legs, I think the unit itself would make it all modern. Just my opinion. I like everything slick and one design all over. Otherwise it looks like you did a nice job.

You must not care about the finish on that truck. 😅 Spraying paint outside near cars is so dangerous

It turned out great. I would not add anything. I am curious wether the drawers with the appliquet have knobs or not?

You have good luck finding furniture. Sometimes Facebook marketplace is expensive and far to pick up.

Reupholstering corners is as hard. I usually have to do them twice😂

Very cool. I thought that piece had a great shape but hella- ugly. The paint is so fun and elevates it to a unique whimsical piece.

These have to be some of the least pretty pieces I have ever seen. Paint or no paint is not really the issue.
