I try and make How-To videos that anyone can understand and do the work them self. I used to make drone videos but nothing fancy and usually its the raw footage.

Thank You for this. I researched dozens of videos for my 2020 High Country and none of them showed the sunroof option. Awesome Job Bro !
Excellent video! Straight to the point without annoying music
Well done!!! Thank you 😊
Thanks for your helpful video. I have a 2023 Bighorn 400 Explorer from Tractor supply. It has the Nebula engine which looks exactly like the one in your Massimo and hence, your explanations were right on target.
Excellent How-To video. Great bike and motor. Why the Honda engineers buried the air filter under so much plastic is mind-boggling. Other maintenance items of the bike are much less labor intensive. Thanks for making the video
Anything ELSE?
Cool
TY, I have a Trailmaster Taurus 450 and their is no maintenance info online. However, the process for oil change is identical to the Massimo Buck. I was scratching my head not seeing an oil filter or an oil cap "anywhere". Thanks Again.
How often are you suppose to change the air filter ?
What? You got all the way in there and didn’t change the coolant and do a valve adjustment?
Already got the seat off, nothing special there.... that's why I came here... to get the seat off, yeah... I'm that guy.
Haha sorry, one of my other videos I think shows how I got the seat off. Turn the key, lift up with one hand, then give it a love tap (towards the back) right at the ridge
DON'T use SAE sockets...it's METRIC. Using SAE sockets on metric bolts can round the heads off. Seen it way too many times in my 15 plus years of working on cars. It's ridiculous we have to remove the engine mount to replace the serp belt, but my guess is that's why it's never been done on my car and my car has 210k miles on it. And has leaked oil like crazy and slung it all over the belt. So it's getting replaced today. Owned it for 5 months, 10k miles in those 5 months without an issue except oil burning off the exhaust manifold but never once had to add oil between my 3k mile oil changes. Strange. I've owned and sold over 200 cars in the last 16 years, but my Cruze is one of my favorites I've ever owned. 13 LTZ RS, just what I wanted.
Great video thank you 🔥🔥🔥
Would be nice in any video they would really and truly show US how to really do this 😭
Nice job on this 👏 👍 video, give info on Footboard s my 🏍 is black also. Thx
Any idea where to find a dipstick for a Massimo 400
I know you posted this almost a decade ago but thanks so much for doing so! I managed to get my hands on a completely brand news set of bags for my CTX and they came with the whole lock set up, and I was worried I’d have to spring for a locksmith or dealer
Horrible camera views and no details in video.
Thanks for watching ;)
I agree 100% !!!
Do you know where to buy parts for this rig I can't find them anywhere
eBay and Amazon. Look for HiSun. Pretty much the same thing
Thank you for a very helpful video. Question - assuming you have the rear view mirror equipped with rear view camera functionality. Would you remember if the cable from the rear view camera runs directly to the mirror or it goes to some junction box or something? I am trying to relocate my rear view mirror camear to the back of the canopy and need to figure out if I will have to connect at the back of the cab in to the cameara side plug, or into the mirror itself to buy correct extension cables. Thank you very much!
Direct
Lousy design,no way it should be that much work
how often needs to be change?
Never would have figured out that’s where the air filter was and how to get to it without your video. Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I ended up just taking the vibrator out and replaced the cables and now it works great!
How did you remove the ctx letters? Thanks
Great information. Do you have a video on coolant change on these UTV’s?
At this time I do not. But I can try to do one when we are back at the property
Thank you!
I have big horn explorer 400 and I tried to find the but I could not find oil filter
Thanks for the great help, what muffler is that sounds great
Please do a video to replace serpentine belt of Chevrolet Beat diesel 2012 model
If I could get one. I would. I have a spark but it’s just the gas version
Thank you so much for making this video, I just used it on a 2022 3/4 ton!
Excellent.
Great work and super generous. Thank you so much for helping me get this done. Super generous!
Thank you! Very well done.
How did you get the headliner to seat around the rear dome light? I popped mine back in the clips and can't for the life of me get it down around it (even with trim tools). Thanks!
Mine just popped down
@@DownOnTheRangeFL Interesting, I might try and coerce it a little more and/or cut notches where the flanges are on the actual light itself so it will slide over.
Apparently you need a Glock too :p
It’s a Springfield XDM. But I do have a 43X
On the Massimo, is there a place to change or check transmission fluid, new to this and the service guide didnt address this thanks, love your tips
How do you unplug the roof console wires?. You had already removed the single plug on the front but showed how to unplug the 2 rear plugs. I got those but cannot figure out how to release the front one. Thanks, Tom
There is a tab in the middle you depress and then just pull. No locking tab if I remember
Did you ever figure it out??
Please tell me what lock plate type good for the ctx saddlebag. Thank you very much! Very usefull video.
Damn good video! Thanks for the clear and succinct instructions!
Thanks for the video
Spudger?
It’s a wide flat tool. Mainly used in electronics repair but works for any pressure fit plastics
Hi just need to drop the liner a bit for pdr access a bit on rear driver side I suppose I don’t need to do all of this correct ?
These crease very easily. I would be cautious
It would have been extremely frustrating to attempt this on my own Buck and I'm very appreciative of the hints and clues. I'm just curious though... did Massimo pay you to leave out the actual performance of the steps involved? I can imagine the difficulties involved trying to get video of those steps... it's MUCH simpler to just say "use a 7/8 wrench to remove the dipstick holder" than to show HOW THE FARK you get the wrench ON the dipstick holder without dismantling surrounding paraphenalia. I hope you would agree that this vehicle WAS NOT MADE FOR DIY maintenance.
Hah. They did not. I’m sorry for not including that. If I remember I slipped the box wrench end over the tube. That or I used a crow foot. EDIT: I just rewatched. I turned it a little at a time as shown until I could turn it by hand.
Wait until you get into the electrical system. Makes me scratch my head.
@@DownOnTheRangeFL Thanks. I'm too old and my arms weren't long enough. But trial and error got me to where I could do basically the same. Having accomplished it once, it'll go easier next time. I'm even less electrically inclined than mechanically... but thanks for the warning.
@@DownOnTheRangeFL Do you know if there is any sort of transmission release lever similar to those found on riding mowers? My Buck 400 transmission will not engage at all. I changed the oil (carelessly I didn't use wet clutch oil), drove it for about half a mile, drained the oil again and added "wet clutch" oil and the transmission will not engage at all... it's not slipping... just not engaging. I'm hoping there is a lever that I accidentally moved in my efforts.
@@sensiblyhonest695 I looked through the service manual and I do not see anything listed the shifter goes to a pulley near the passenger side rear.
What about the rear dome light?
What about it? Do you mean removing it from the head liner?
@@DownOnTheRangeFL im not sure if you said anything about it but the rear domelight is held to the top with just clips, no?
@@roostertoot497 Ahh gotcha, Its held to the roof via two clips, and then its also held into the headliner, but I did not remove it so I am not sure exactly how its held on to the headliner. It used to be the clear plastic held two clips in, but since these are just straight LED and dont have that dome I do not know. My truck is in for transmission work so I am unable to check.
You had a leak too? Seems so common on this truck...they can't figure mine out where was yours?
Mine was those screws for the rear third brake light.
@@DownOnTheRangeFL I keep saying this to my dealer but they won't listen. Might check out the screws in the 3rd brakelight they just silicone them?
@@kelman3331 yea. There is a TSB about leaks in the rear as well. They added some silicone over my rear window before I filmed this video.
Just completed this job and the video was a lifesaver! It is possible to get the engine bracket all the way out on a Sonic, but it requires some real contorting. Just a heads-up, while 5/8" works, these are actually 15mm bolts. A 12-point socket will fit the tensioner bolt if you don't have an inverted torx.
Great Video! Thank you.
Did the shark fin antenna have a bolt holding it on under the headliner? Or did they change that design?
I unfortunately don’t remember and I deleted the original videos that had extra footage. But in previous versions (my 2015 Silverado) which are the same design it was two screws. I would look up a parts diagram and see if you can find photos that way.
Of the eight bolts that secure the engine mount, only the two bolts and nut are reusable. The three bolts that secure the two halves of the mount together AND the three bolts that secure the mount to the engine are "Torque to Yield" bolts. Reusing these bolts after removal is NOT recommended! ***Torque Specs*** Bracket to engine: 45ft lbs + 50° Bracket to body: 46ft lbs Bracket to bracket: 37ft lbs + 65°
