Lyrics:
Hey-hey, mama, said the way you move
Gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove
Ah, ah, child, way you shake that thing
Gonna make you burn, gonna make you sting
Hey-hey, baby, when you walk that way
Watch your honey drip, can't keep away
Oh, yeah, oh, yeah
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, yeah, oh, yeah
Oh, oh, oh
I gotta roll, can't stand still
Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill
Eyes that shine, burning red
Dreams of you all through my head
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah
Hey, baby, oh, baby, pretty baby
Darling, can't you do me now?
Hey, baby, oh, baby, pretty baby
Move me while you do me now
Didn't take too long 'fore I found out
What people mean by down and out
Spent my money, took my car
Started telling her friend she gonna be a star
I don't know, but I've been told
A big-legged woman ain't got no soul
Oh, yeah, oh, yeah
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, yeah, oh, yeah
Oh, oh, oh
All I ask for, all I pray
Steady-rollin' woman gonna come my way
Need a woman gonna hold my hand
But tell me no lies, make me a happy man
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah

Introducing My *RARE* 2005 CLK55 AMG Avant Garde | A Collector’s Dream!
Gotta love the stripper song😊
That song Miracles shaped my expectations of what love should be like. At the time, I was a kid and had not yet experienced any actual love. Was my favorite then and still love the song today!
Fun fact. This guitar riff and arrangement was from the genius of John Paul Jones.
I always thought it was about a hot black chick.
I love Centerfold.
They mixed light and shade in a song
Do this whole concert!!
The first part of the song was about a stalker fan of Johnny Rotten who was a mental patient in Birmingham. She was raped by the orderlies and used to hide from them in a tree house on the grounds. The second half of the song is about him getting rid of his mothers miscarriages in a bucket that he would have to dispose of in the outhouse,
Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin,Deep Purple the holy triad of rock music🤘
Hey everyone, thanks for checking out this live version of ‘Black Dog’ at Madison Square Garden! Quick apology for the poor sound quality of my voice-there were a few fans and air conditioning blowing right near the mic, so it messed with the audio. As we know, sound waves are physical and travel in unexpected ways, so I’ll do my best to improve next time! If you enjoyed this, feel free to check out my other recent Led Zeppelin videos for more classic performances. Appreciate all the support!
Guitar riff was written by JPJ!
They loved performing & always put everything into it, but they actually hated being away from their families so much. Plant & Bonham had their country farms, Plant would milk his goats, their US tours were usually pretty long. Page does get criticized more than he should, many say he’s sloppy, I’ll take his sloppy over perfection. His live solos were improvised quite a bit, longer the studio versions, & everyone seemed to enjoy them. Plant would add to his vocals too, Bonham & JPJ never knew what to expect, but they were right there with them. Plant many times told JPJ to come out front, but he liked being more obscure, he had more freedom out in public. The more you pay attention to the little things, the more you appreciate the masters of music.
The Black Lab showed up when the band was living at Headley Grange, which was an old Estate. The guys stayed there, writing & recording music, they had The Rolling Stones mobile recording studio. The Lab would hang out at the Estate during the day, & wonder off at night. They couldn’t think of a name for the song, so they decided to name it Black Dog. I know Stairway To Heaven was written there, Page said how the music was almost done, & Plant was curled up on a chair writing the lyrics. I know Bonham’s drumming for When The Levee Breaks, was recorded in the 3 story entryway, & mics were staged at different levels of the staircase. I’m not sure what all else was written or recorded there, maybe all of album IV. They were there to eat sleep & make music, & the place didn’t have heat. There is video of them hanging outside, & part of it you can hear from outside them playing inside, & see the Black Lab. Thank you for your reaction.
As Fagen recalled, the drummer, Steve Gadd, came into the studio, looked at the sheet music, spent about 15 minutes on a couple of the drum fills, then played that track straight thru, in one take. Amazing.
That is serious talent. Fagen would often bring in a guitarist & say 'just do it' and even though he was a perfectionist, he just picked the right people for the job. Thanks for sharing.
@@llarose Yes, he was a undebatably the master of that.😁👍
06 clk 500, got it for $6900 with 45k miles. Only have has it for a year, now has 57k. No issues other than needing a new battery, kinda difficult to find parts, other than that, love it. Damn near through this winter with no issues😅 Another plus I’ve got to add is it has no airmatic or abc suspension, so very reliable on that matter. Common issue would be CPS, OEM ones last way longer than aftermarket. Get that Benz people.
Excellent, yes, you'll need to change the battery every 4 years. Preventative maintenance & this car, because it doesn't have all the complex issues that plague other models, will last you a long time. You have a rear wheel drive V8 Mercedes Benz coupe. Rejoice. Cars like this will never be built again ($6900(!)
An absolute masterpiece, also in the same category is brothers in arms from their 5th studio album 1985, remastered in 96, it’s genius level, with a totally different vibe, evokes a different type of powerful emotion. Definitely worth checking out. 😊
GOOD MASTER !! ZEPPELIN´S IS LEGEND !!
Magnificent love song!!
This song has everything your ears and mind desires. A real gem. Thank you for watching.
Bonham is tapping on Jimmy's guitar case!
Yes, my comment about him tapping on a shoe was a bit exaggerated, but knowing the chief improvisor/innovator like Bonham, 'possible'... :) Thanks for watching.
Greatest band in history!!
Greatest band in history! Bonham was the greatest!!
Yes he was Julie!!! Well, maybe second greatest, just behind Neil Pert 😮
This is the forever debate:) Neil Peart is perhaps Bonham 2.0, slightly more recent Rock era..
Although he is beloved by many, I still think he is underrated by more modern 'commentators' - his unique style and near impossible 'purposely odd' timing signatures still make emulating his songs a real challenge. Rock on Julie:)
@@joshuadeshaies7266Neil Peart actually isn't that revered outside North America.
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
Pure passion in every note, Absolutely unmatched! ❤🔥 Thanks for watching!
Bonham on those drums is on another planet.
He was a force of nature, for sure,
The man was in a league of his own. Thanks for watching!
@@llaroseI know you’ve reacted to other Led Zeppelin songs, I couldn’t find if you saw Moby Dick? Live at Royal Albert Hall (1970), Bonham’s 15 minute drum solo of Moby Dick is killer. As a drummer, you also would love Achilles Last Stand, studio or live at Knebworth (1979), of course Bonham’s drumming stands out on many songs. Thank you for your reaction.
John on that bass is legendary
Legendary talent that ties everything together seamlessly. Thanks for watching!
Great reaction and subbed! I saw them at the Winterland in April, 1969- their first US tour. I was a blushing teen when they did The Lemon Song!
Thank you for subbing! Seeing them on their first US tour at Winterland must’ve been an unforgettable experience. What a memory. Thanks for sharing!
That's not keyboards and a recorder playing that section, that is Jimmy Page playing long sustained guitar notes. He overdubbed a second guitar to harmonize them. Very clever.
Thanks for pointing that out! Jimmy Page’s creativity. Such a clever touch that adds so much depth.. Brilliant work from a true genius!
@@llarosea fabulous producer...he produced all their albums!
The percussion at the start is bonham on guitar case
They don't make 'em like that anymore. That’s such a cool detail, turning anything into rhythm magic. Pure genius!
Led Zeppelin la Mejor Banda del Universo !!! Un Abrazo desde Chile !!!
Y Dios creó a Led Zeppelin :) Un abrazo desde Rio de Janeiro.
A masterpiece - enough said.
@@gbrown431 👏👏👏
Yes to progrock and all other genres. They did it all.
Prog rock, blues, folk, metal - you name it. True musical pioneers. Thanks for watching!
Heck yeah they were prog, blues, folk, metal, and punk before they had categories.
Led Zeppelin was the ultimate genre-bender - and even punk before labels could catch up. They truly were in a league of their own. Thank you for watching!
Bonham was self taught, he had a couple lessons at a young age. According to his sister, his mother wanted him to continue with lessons & learn to read music, but John said he didn’t need to. He didn’t get his first kit until age 15, a small basic kit, imagine how happy he was to get his Ludwig kit. He taught himself by listening to other drummers, Led Zeppelin was the perfect band for him, bandmates & fans appreciated his playing. Greatest drummer ever!
Self-taught. Zeppelin truly was the perfect home for his genius, and that Ludwig kit? And the huge 26" Bass drum... Magic in his hands. Great drummer, indeed! Thank you for watching!
As a fellow percussionist, and someone who had a family member playing drums professionally around the time of Zeppelin who got me into percussion, I like hearing you comment on the bass line. I think our ears are tuned to hear sounds at that level, and man, John Paul Jones is still one of the best and smoothest I've ever heard. You can argue for different styles, but his bass lines, and Bonham's drum lines just put the songs together in a more harmonious way.
John Paul Jones and Bonham had this unmatched synergy. Their grooves didn’t just support the music; they elevated it. Smooth, dynamic, and timeless. Thanks for watching!
I saw an interview with Charlie Watts one time, and he said Bonham was his favourite rock drummer. He said, rock drummers have to own time, make it theirs, more so than any other drummers. He thought Bonham did that best. I always found that statement intriguing.
Charlie Watts, two legends recognizing greatness in each other. Bonham truly made time his own, shaping each song. What a compliment from a master. Thank you for watching!
Their genre is "Best Band Ever".
Hard to argue with that! Led Zeppelin practically defined rock greatness. Thank you for watching! 🎸🔥
Yes it is, since every genre they did, was done to perfection. I call them The GODS Of MUSIC!
Absolutely!
It’s weird that almost 50 years later you probably couldn’t release a song like this, it’s so outrageous, and outrageously good…a sad indictment on how society is basically pretty conservative nowadays despite people thinking they’re “liberal” and open minded
Bodies is a raw, unapologetic firestorm of a song that pushes every boundary. It’s wild to think that the punk ethos of “say it as it is” might not fly today, despite all the talk of freedom and open-mindedness. It's ironic - punk wasn’t about playing nice, it was about making you uncomfortable enough to think. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
Black sabbath n Ozzy are a great band
Black Sabbath and Ozzy defined heavy metal. Paranoid is a timeless anthem-raw, powerful, and unforgettable. Thank you for watching! 🤘
Reckon that's Bonham on Page's guitar case.
Could be! Bonham was a master of improvisation. That percussive tapping adds so much texture. Thank you for watching! 🎸🥁
That’s what I heard, that it was Page’s guitar case.
Ramble on is a masterpiece among all of the other masterpieces by this incredible band of four master musicians. They are the GOATS.
Yes
Oh man I have another guitarist, even Joe Bonamassa and Steve Vai wrote him a letter that they better can stop: Mateo Mancuso! I'm going to his concert. 27 years and absolutely on a different level. especially when you have some guitar skills!!
sorry I have ADHD, but I pump up your reaction volume.. with shizzle. But really, I mean it. Mark is one of my all time heros
No need to apologize-your passion for music is infectious! Mark Knopfler is definitely in a league of his own, and his storytelling through songs like What It Is and Sailing to Philadelphia is unmatched. Seriously, who else makes a song about surveyors Dixon and Mason sound like pure poetry? Mateo Mancuso sounds fascinating too, I'll have to check him out. Thanks for the recommendation and for keeping the enthusiasm alive. Shizzle on, my friend! 😄
@llarose this, my man!! Im a Dutchie and for me this in the normal stuff he wrote... nobody catch me, they all think: there he is again with his Knopfler....
Ps sorry for some broken English.... Im from NL, but I think you get the point.
Sub an like, instant
Did you do sailing to philadelphia? It's about Jeremihia Dixon and Charley Mason .... who writes a song about that?? Mark Knopfler
The GREAT Steve Gadd from Syracuse NY on the amazing DRUMS
Steve Gadd's drumming on Aja is legendary. precision, groove, and pure magic. A masterclass from Syracuse's finest! Thank you for watching! 😊
Whether you're pro or anti abortion "It's immoral to bring a human being into this world and not care for it" Direct quote from Johnny Rotten.
A lot of commenters are divided on this. However, it's hard to believe he's neutral on this issue. Just listen to that song! Last word: Mommyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!
There will never, ever, ever, be, another JB..... The best ever, he's a musician not just a drummer. He's a genius drummer...
Absolutely. He was very special and as a drummer myself, he frustrated the hell out of me when I was trying to learn Zeppelin songs. To the naked ear, all songs peachy, but to emulate his groove & nuance was near impossible. Thanks for the support. Just covered Ramble On here today: th-cam.com/video/J76ut1-VWoo/w-d-xo.html
you know... Mark can sit any pub next to yo, plays his song, you give him a kiss on the cheek, buy him a pint! And that is what it is! How f*kking good are you to make the impossible riff?? Money for Nothing?
Yes, he really has that vibe that he'd be sitting in a pub doing what he does regardless of fame or not. Thanks for sharing
love your channel man! support you 🙂
God be with you
Quality album. I don’t know why it’s not better known. It’s their best album.
Couldn’t agree more. Top to bottom a gem!
Is it worth buying this samecar for 5,900 at 207k miles?
I wouldn't buy a car with more than 200,000 miles unless you had records from Day 1, and it is immaculate. $5,700 may seem like a good value, but it was a high priced German Coupe with - now - continued high-price maintenance needs. Be careful, even Toyotas start breaking down after 200K
@@llarose aight. Thanks man
Strange HOUSE not village "Mein Froind" 😃🎸😃🎸😃🎸
Thanks for watching:)
It's about the way a woman who has an abortion is treated, about the pain of abortion, about the justification. (I don't want a baby that looks like that). obviously there were physical defects/ health defects with the foetus. Al the while being called an animal and abused by anti-abortionists. Bodies refers to women's' bodies.
There's a few dozen comments here that are all over the map. Note, that Johnny screams Mummmmy!!! several times, from the baby's point a view. In fact, it's also the last line of the song.. Thanks for sharing.
Robert & Maureen were married in November 1968. He wrote this song thanking her for supporting his music dreams. This song was mine & my husbands wedding song, we will be married 40 years in February. Bonham married his high school sweetheart in 1966, she never remarried & still lives in their home. Jones married in 1967, him & his wife are still married. Bonham in my opinion will always be the greatest drummer, he always knew exactly what each song needed. I still miss him to this day. Thank you for your reaction.
My heart breaks every time I watch Bonzo😢😢😢😢😢 such bittersweet viewing. Hes been dead longer than he was alive but oh boy look at his legacy❤❤❤❤
Bonham’s legacy truly lives on, and his impact is timeless. It’s bittersweet to watch his performances, knowing how much talent we lost. But what a gift he gave to music. His spirit is forever in those beats. Thank you for sharing that sentiment!
What a beautiful story behind the song, and congrats on 40 years of marriage! Bonham’s drumming, indeed, had a perfect blend of emotion and power, always serving the song. His influence still resonates deeply. Thanks for sharing and for watching!
@ thank you.
