This quite fearsome looking Elephant Hawk-Moth caterpillar was filmed in my garden in 2015 before I became obsessed with wildlife filmmaking. They can reach up to around 85mm in length and it is one of the largest caterpillars found in Cornwall and the British Isles. Dunlin feeding around seaweed on the shore of South East Cornwall. These are charming and charismatic birds that easily blend into their surroundings on the shoreline.

A female great spotted woodpecker feeding it's young in the tree nest just a few days before fledging. The adults are very attentive around this time and feeding many times a day, sometimes several times within an hour. I am working on a longer video on this woodpecker family.
