♡ Happy Halloween! This is based on the ending from the musical and my very first animatic. I am very normal about Death Note and this is one of my favorite songs from the musical so I am very happy to have finished this. I started this project in April of this year and it took over 80 hours of my life. Also happy birthday L

Yesss!!!! I love the musical and this is drawn so well! The backgrounds and poses are so good! All of the flashing images and scenes at 0:31 literally made me say "woah!", It's so cool and I paused to look at all of them. I love how it loops to further demonstrate the line L has later. Also the computer screen reflecting in his pupils at 0:43 looks so good! Also faeifbwaj L pulling out the gun at 1:07 made me laugh just cuz of how small he looks. It's so funny to me for some reason. I absolutely love all of their facial expressions, especially how smug Light looks! AND RYUK JUST EATING THE APPLE AND NOT CARING L IS THERE CUZ HE'S GONNA DIE ANYWAY!??!!? AND YO?!?!?! LIGHT LETTING L TOUCH THE DEATH NOTE SO HE CAN SEE RYUK?!?! That was so cool and I love 1:48, that frame with Ryuk behind him is so good. Light is calling the Death Note "his power" but it's not entirely his. It's Ryuk's, and Light can die just like how L can. Light looks so pretty at 1:52, oughh this whole thing is so pretty! I also gasped at Light just, leaning into the gun???!? Man is so confident in his power and that L will either a) not shoot or b) die before he can get the shot off. AND JUST AIMING IT BACK AT L?!!?!? Bro this is so good 10/10 this is such a good animatic!!!!!! Hope you have a nice day!

I dont want to sound like a broken record, but this is just excellent. The choice of when to use colours, the red creeping in, the gradual dawn of realisation of L captured so well, and the absolutely phenomenal ✨️cinematography✨️, this is genuinely fantastic. One of my favourite animatics, please keep up the amazing work!
