It can be, some of their newer ships are quite something! They also don't appeal as much to families as they dont tend to have as much for kids. MSC Cruises is known for its modern fleet, European flair, and atmosphere, catering to a wide range of passengers. While it may not be classified in the same luxury tier as lines like Silversea, Regent Seven Seas, or Seabourn, it does offer a variety of options to suit different budgets and preferences, including some upscale experiences.

😂😂 but might have been one of the funniest things to witness second-hand. Also side note, if you take the patches off because you dont like the side effects, wash behind your ears where the patch was with soap! It is a transdermal patch so the medication from the patch will continue to absorb into your skin even after you remove it!!

Agreed but we dont like the brightness of the light in the bathroom. Some of the older ships only have the option for full light with no dimmer or night light option so it is super bright when you have to get up in the night to go to the bathroom.

I had to stop. It ebded up just being so much junk and broken items i was losing money and it was so time consuming to go through everything. I can definitely see why it is cheaper to have companies sell off items at a liquidated price and just not have to deal with the hastle

Great question! It was fun to do once but I do think just getting a cab to Crazy lobster would be great if you didnt want to drive to different places but if you want to just hang out at one place there is pleanty to do there all day plus tons of shops!

Correct there are a select few handicap accessable rooms but standard staterooms are not wide enough to accommodate large power wheelchairs. Royal caribbean states it has to be less than 23 inches, NCL states less than 22inches, and carnival states it just be able to fit through a 22in door. There are loads of rental companies that can be rented from if a smalled scooter than someone normally uses needs to be rented for the week.

The standard doorway is 24 inches but yes, some may be smaller on certain ships or with older ships. This is why I suggested always checking these things with your specific cruise line and cruise ship as I could not possibly know all information on every single ship currently in service.

I bet that is definitely a common one that gets taken away a lot since it is legal in so many countries

I would guess probably not but it is not listed in the banned items. I know they recently would not let someone bring on a small portable washing machine so this would probably fall into that same category

We have to fly to our cruise port so don't need them on for the flight portion. We will get them out when we get to our cruise port city. But if you are fortunate enough to live somewhere where you can get there without flying definitely go ahead and put those on!

Me too!!! DDD here so all my bras and bathing suits have large molded cups and take up lots of room no matter what I try! But I’m a total overpacker anyway. I like to have tons of what if items. It’s like my safety blanket 😊.

I stuff them in whereever there is a little space! So about 10-20 in my carry on and I had tons of room in my backpack.

It looks like it would fit Royal Caribbean and celebrity. Other cruise lines seem to have more of a square shaped tag.

3 pairs of athletic style shorts and 10 different tops went into the second packing cube and the jean shorts went into my backpack although I do basically live in my swimsuit when cruising. Undergarments went into the packing cube with my swimwear, but yes I did not pack any sleepwear so if that is something you like to have it could fit in the cube with tops and shorts. Unfortunately I forgot to mention a passport, definitely don't forget that! My husband is the one who carries that so I completely forgot to mention! And I still had loads of room in my backpack to fit other essentials.

We usually go to breakfast about 7:30 so maybe to the pools just after 8ish. Our kids are also early risers so we never had to set an alarm or feel rushed out the door. The big water slides didn't open until 9:30am on our last cruise.

Thank goodness its going to dry dock soon! That whole ship was looking awfully rough! There was rust EVERYWHERE!

@@roses4adventure217 we were on the 6-day cruise last week (march 31-April 6). That boat was rough looking. Definitely not as nice as the Royal Caribbean boat we were on before. I had a good time, but will never cruise carnival again. RC is by far the superior cruise line imo.

There are definitely a bunch of small holes in there but there is also a 6-8 ft dent in the side I can't believe they are still using it! 🤦‍♀️
