GPR-SLICE new option - scrolling of GPS radargrams in OpenGL with a user customized scan size
GPR/GPS surveying is becoming more commonplace and users are often collecting longer and longer single track GPS datasets. Shown is an example of a GPS (drone) track collected by Aero Solutions 360 in the Philippines. One issue in displaying GPS radargrams in their full 3D extent is zig-zag single track surveys are difficult to look inside the track as front or rear portions block the visualization.
For this reason a new scrolling option was developed in OpenGL for GPS radargrams. The user can set the number of scans to examine and then clicking the r+/r- buttons one can increment and display that number of scans into the single track. The Store button can also be used to keep display lists of any number of desired portions of the track and zscans or x/yscans etc. can be placed into the volume. The Bounce button is also engaged and will allow an "animation" of the GPS track to be drawn across the site. The animation will reverse itself after getting to end of the track.

GPR SLICE Software quickstart introduction
มุมมอง 8K5 ปีที่แล้ว
A short video on the basic GPR-SLICE operations. The step-by-step procedures include basic radargram signal processing including time 0 correction, bandpass filtering, variable velocity migration, and hilbert transform, followed by creating time slices and 3D volumes from processed radargrams.

GPR-SLICE v7.0 Ground Penetrating Radar Imaging Software and processing of GPS collected surveys with Mala Geoscience GPR. GPR-SLICE reads the Mala *.cor files, and does all the internal conversion to UTM. The gps tracks are then spatially binned and interpolated using built-in gridding menus. The time slices can then be colorized and interpolated between to create 3D volumes of GPR/GPS random ...
Filtering of plow scars in GPR time slice data using 2D FFT
มุมมอง 58311 ปีที่แล้ว
GPR-SLICE v7.0 Ground Penetrating Radar Imaging Software (www.gpr-survey.com) has a 2D FFT menu for filtering time slices. In this example, plow scars from a site are hiding archaeological features. Removal of the plow scars is accomplished by transforming the time slices in the 2D FFT space, selectively filtering the spectral components, and then taking an inverse FFT to make a filtered time s...

Hi Dean; great introduction, How can I get a copy of this software please. Thank you
Hi Hussain...GPR-SLICE is a commercial software. In Europe or the middle east please contact Dr. Gianluca Catanzariti with www.3dgeoimaging.com for expert service and training and year round support.
Excellent introduction Dean - thank you
