Hi everyone. So, I woke up this morning and said to myself, I'm going to create a Legend of Zelda Link to the Past movie, and it's going to be amazing. Except, it's not great, but here it is anyway. If people like it, I can make more, if not, no worries either. This was created with the assistance of ai, obviously, but it still took me ... 14 hours straight to make. Still, totally worth it. May...
You did a good job. I never made one but I know it can be tough working with AI and requires lots of time and patience. Unfortunately the constant zooming in ..every single frame .. made me dizzy and was a bit excessive. Couldn’t watch the whole thing.

well the AI can do a good job creating and animating nature scenes in short cuts but damn does any people it trys to make look like horrible freaks of unnature.

Does AI only work in 2-second clips?
Unfortunately, if you try for anything more than a person standing still (like action), it only works for a split second before the footage becomes so unrealistic and bad it becomes unusable. Sorry!

Very cool, so the faces already have a lot less differences. I notice it very positively. And the rats were really damn well staged, they didn't look like pure cannon fodder like they did in the game, they looked like horrible enemies. I really liked that. The robot at the end, better make it as a horrible Rat ^^ Otherwise very good work :)
This is so cool. My favorite childhood game, probably my favorite game of all time!

Some fear AI, I enjoy it. The video looks awesome, I have no idea why the ship is on fire, in the worst rain. But the pictures are cool. The first time Marin walk with you was a highlight of the game, especially the track at the end of the game. I think it's a damn shame that Nintendo missed the boat like that. A film or even a game of this quality would make me forget all my concerns about the prices. Sorry for the moaning, it just hurts...
Ha ha good points on all accounts, I agree with you. Fleshing out the game a little more would definitely match the price point better - and yeah, why is the shop on fire? :🤣
So for the final boss he kills him with a barrel somehow?
Yeah, in a Link to the past, just before you save Zelda, you defeat a chain guard with a barrel. It's not a final boss, but I just enhance the drama. Cheers!
@@Zelflix A barrel? IIRC, I just repeatedly stunned him with the boomerang before dashing in to poke him with my sword before rushing back out as he recovered. Rinse and repeat to kill him. I don't recall ever using a barrel.

It sounds more realistic than a boomerang. Destroying the opponent, no matter how. Here you can see the details that have burnt themselves into us, even if other things might have made more sense from a realistic point of view ^^

I think it's just branding but yes I agree!
But even so is my favorite game of that zaga, actually it was a game that was not planed to be public, it was a sandbox room. That suddenly worked better that other projects. I play the original and of course the amazing remake.

Every frame of this looks like a cross between a Dior magazine ad and a Paramore music video, on acid. Plus it's AI, which means there are ten thousand uncredited artists that worked on this.
OK, good points about uncredited artists, I haven't looked into the fundamentals into how the vids are generated. So, if I am inspired to draw by hand, but look at other people's art for inspiration, is that also bad? Good points, cheers! :)
Tell AI to make up its mind on how Link looks and his haircut, lol. Also agree on another comment where the clips cut too fast. We want nice long slo-mo scenes of our boi's handsome face! Great Job otherwise. :)

There’s a lot in here that is great inspiration for a Zelda movie in general, there’s tons of elfy looking zoomer kids to play link lol we just need it to be the ocarina of time type of story

Too true; although what if someone uses AI (not me) to create real art .... But I agree with you. (As in, AI is a tool, like the paint brush is a tool, like the camera is a tool. I think AI is just a bad tool at the moment, but one day ... :)

While the cinematics are beautiful. Cuts happening every other second break the immersion, gotta let a scene breathe, not drag but maybe let a scene go for 5-7 secs.

Amazing use of AI! It's stuff like this I hope more people will make! AI is the future. The graphics of games will become amazing.

I loved it, I would like to see a movie of my favorite game from my childhood, for me it is the best, but the Gameboy game. The Nintendo Switch doesn't exist, for me that doesn't exist, j There has never been a remake of a link to the past.
I agree, I love Link;s awakening and this time. Something about the magic in them. Maybe it'd childhood, maybe not, either way, great games and would make great movies too. :)

Ha ha thank you. Yeah no worries. I create images on Midjourney first, then turn them into videos on Runway AI (runwayml.com) image to video software, then edit it in Premier pro. Basically you throw you 95 percent of images/vids, and just keep the good stuff (and even then it looks a bit weird). Feel free to ask any more questions. :) Also, if you generate a lot of images and vids (which I do), it can get pricy as a heads up. :)

This is so good! I love it. You've done a wonderful job here at bringing the game to life. I will say that it cuts much too fast on average, in my opinion, If the clips are short, maybe they could just be slowed down.
Great advice thank you so much, I need feedback, so I appreciate it. I'll try slowing them down with the new generation. I'm getting better at creating longer clips (that don't look terrible) so we'll see how I go on the new one I post today. Thanks for the compliment too. Take care. 😀
