A Weekend in my Life: Yorkdale & Value Village
Just vlogging another typical weekend in my life.
My generous boss gave me a gift card for Christmas and so I went and got myself some stuff. We visited Value Village as well.

A Weekend in my Life: Visiting the Distillery Winter Village ❄️🎄
มุมมอง 2109 วันที่ผ่านมา
We took the TTC to go downtown and visit the Distillery Winter Village in the Distillery District, a famous destination here in Toronto during the holiday season. We knew it'd be busy coming on a weekend, but we had fun nonetheless. Make sure to bundle up as there's lots of walking! If you're also interested in going, admission is free everyday before 4pm. There's also free admission all day fr...
A Typical Weekend in my Life

Just vlogging a typical weekend. I've learned over the years that one way to fight the creeping winter blues is to actually be outside, so this weekend, we ended up just driving around to different stores just like we always do.
Pinch of Pinoy: Pork Sisig & Shrimp Sinigang 😋
มุมมอง 55720 วันที่ผ่านมา
Moving overseas, I forced myself to learn to cook. I knew that the best (and cheapest) way to overcome my homesickness is through food so here I am, trying to feel like I'm home one dish at a time. It's been getting cold here in Toronto and sinigang is just the perfect comfort food, add in the sisig and it's a match made in heaven!
Pinch of Pinoy: Cooking Pancit & Lumpia 👨🏻🍳

Moving overseas, I forced myself to learn to cook. I knew that the best (and cheapest) way to overcome my homesickness is through food so here I am, trying to feel like I'm home one dish at a time. I saw a photo of a Filipino platter with pancit, lumpia and fried pork on Facebook & couldn't stop thinking about it. Weekend came and I had to make it. PS: 10 pcs calamansi is $4.57 at the Asian sto...
Forks of the Credit Provincial Park ⛰️
มุมมอง 104หลายเดือนก่อน
We decided to drive a little further this time and went all the way to Caledon to visit Forks of the Credit Provincial Park, one of the best parks near the GTA. We braved the cold and went on a hike when it was 1° celsius, and have absolutely no regrets! Although this was our shortest hike (only a little under 3 hours), this was the most challenging among all the parks we visited so far.
Quick Hike | Hilton Falls Conservation Area
มุมมอง 91หลายเดือนก่อน
Our most recent trip to Hilton Falls Conservation Area marks our visit to 4 out of the 8 parks under Conservation Halton. Since we got to the park early, we went straight to the falls to beat the crowd. I would say it was about a 15-minute walk from parking. After the falls, we followed the Beaver Dam Trail which was 8km long. Out of all the other parks we visited, we found this to be the least...
Hiking & Fall Chair Lift | Kelso Conservation Area 🍂🍁
มุมมอง 113หลายเดือนก่อน
We booked this reservation on the Conservation Halton website for $10.50 per person & the fall chair lift for $8. This already includes parking. If you plan on coming, try to come early to avoid the crowd. We finished hiking at 1pm and it was already so packed. All in all, it was a pretty good trip and we thoroughly enjoyed the scenery 😉

We left Toronto at 4-ish and after a couple stops for snacks and bathroom breaks, we finally got to our destination a little after 8am. We paid a total of $40 for 5 people and 1 car, all good for a 4-hr reservation. The water was not as cold as I expected, and I wish I could've stayed longer. We ate our lunch at a picnic spot close to the parking area. If you're visiting, make sure you don't le...
