Talk Ya Book - Aaron McDonald and and John Poynton
I find it curious that the main Seneca fund hasn't beaten the index over 5 years but this guy is all over social media making it sound easy?
Zijin are on the rampage. They wanted the Kone project and were beaten to it by the Lundins
Datt is a genius with a stellar record. Bring him on more often. Please ask him about ALL his holdings. WA1, SWF have bolted, too late. SER, YRL have huge upside. Multibaggers when their time happens, very low current market caps. Well done Mr Datt. Keep it up.
Idk how he does it. The junior explorer/biotech space is a bloody tough area to play in.
he got lucky. his long term record is shyte.
7 months on & most of Goldman's recommendations have turned sour. SVG has been delisted, thats a 100% loss, RFG has gone nowhere, Ramelius was once a 5c stock, Goldman started pushing it after it had gone 30x
Wc8 has the biggest upside by far of any lithium stock in the next lithium cycle swing
WC8 will be the next PLS with ease.
That.... was excellent. Thanks boys.
Love the matching outfits boys! Thought I was seeing double!
So VC boy comes here after it's jumped 3x.... To pump it to us
Is this garbage called talk ya book or pump your stock?? I’m confused…
Cut your hair mate. Guest obviously.
Great as ever!
He's bought his stash. Now he's talking his book!
Mr. Goldberg pronounces the word "gematria" with a soft g. Wrong. How can I trust anything he says after hearing, yes hearing, him make such a big mistake? I can't.
😡
Damn. This girls a total smoke show.
Never get tired of these guys who bought coal in 2020 explaining to us why coal is a great buy today. Looking for exit liquidity.
Blokes who got in yonks ago likely wanting to exit their positions.
Coal across the board going to moon again in the next few years
Fantastic breakdown and analysis
Hi Chris, thanks for another video, really enjoy these as they focus on one stock pick. I think they have helped me alot, I've gone from looking for speculative 10 baggers to hopefully buying good businesses that I can hold for 5 plus years. Wish I had started this earlier
Chris indicated he’d post some links, can you highlight these please?
He's 100% right
😴
Everybody has different views and Tesla has proven me wrong Time and time again but I’ve no idea how you can say the risk is to the upside with Tesla when it’s valued more than all other car manufacturers combined coming into what could be a recessionary environment
A little tip Chris, if I search Carnarvon Energy or CVN you video does not come up. You might need to tag your videos a bit better to make the companies described easier to find. Likely to help your views alot
Interesting interview, Bitcoin is just a blockchain protocol which till this date, is a speculative asset IMO, but can be seen a digital gold or a nefarious way of transacting outside of the SWIFT system, short term price is irrelevant its a matter of will it survive a significant economic down turn or cyber attack? Time will tell.
Trash promote. Don't have this pump trash on again.
Thanks Chris, great conversation, it worth noting that this is a technology that few intuitively understand, multi disciplinary combining monetary policy, cryptography and computer science, a knowledge base few possess. We strongly encourage anyone who's interested in this area to do some reading on the topics of Bitcoin and Digital Assets and begin the journey of educating themselves on this emerging asset class.
Will Satoshi Nakamoto help when my "cold wallet" is compromised and is incompatible with Android or Windows upgrades? Does Bitcoin have a dedicated support team to help & refund us when things go awry? Seriously, you ought to be ashamed of yourself for the faux "education" on something that can't be seen or held. And Judd has lost credibility by allowing you here. What next - shall we promote roulette or Baccarat on this show? Can't go wrong, really
Is this guy paying to appear on your show Chris? Is the mythical Satoshi Nakamoto going to pick up the phone when your cold wallet is compromised? No. This is a Ponzi scheme & it has no place on your show. Big dent to your credibility Juddsie.
This is a large marcap US stock. Was $7 two decades ago, now $150. Is he spruiking a stock that has already gone up 20x? You decide
ED is one of Australia's most brilliant & humble money managers, be great if he is a regular here. In addition to his fund, he puts his own personal money into some very interesting beaten down microcaps. He has big personal stakes in YRL & SER, two very interesting microcaps. So far he hasn't discussed these two stocks publicly.
Goldberg is a charismatic & ernest fellow & i enjoy listening to him. I realize he's talking his book but would like to see more of him. It would be great if he could disclose his buy/sell intentions. Some critical thinking here about his past recommendations 1. Rfg. Gone nowhere but still looking good for a turnaround. Definitely a value stock. 2.SVG Total debacle, Anyone getting in when Goldberg started talking about it last year would have lost 85% 3. Ramelius. Goldberg's outfit actively promotes this totally unethical company. Ramelius has a seriously bad attitude, they refuse to pay local council rates or hire indigenous workers, senior managers are grossly overpaid & earning as much as $2m a year. Ramelius has a really grubby attitude & the deceased founder would be turning in his grave if he knew what's happened to his company.
doesnt have a book and maybe outside your scope but andy xie would be great interview guest to talk about Australia generally if you know of him
Andy Xie is one of the most brilliant independent economists around, his comments on the JPY turnaround a decade ago were very prescient.
Datt & his assistant Tony are two of the best stockpickers in Australia. These guys are straightshooters who have done extraordinarily well. Bring them back on regularly. Datt's personal portfolio contains YRL, SER, WA1, unfortunately for most of us WA1has hit the sky, fully priced & Datt got in at the absolute bottom. The other two are interesting.
Why is he so happy?
Because he's made a killing on the markets this past year.
2 thumbs having a conversation. one visibly happier than the other.
Try RFG. Owner of Gloria Jeans, Donut King, and a bunch of other brands. Marcap $170m. Close to it's historic low. Multibagger over a decade.
still love the intro to your episodes never gets old
How much did you loose in this fund?
Datt is a modest genius. He's also into some penny juniors which haven't had a big runup yet. DYOR. Can we have an update on his recent buys?
Good opportunity now with David Williams as the new CEO!
oi lyk to move it move it
That was so clear, providing a great big picture analysis.
I think no more rate hikes in Australia, todays GDP numbers pretty much confirm that. Per capita recession 😮
Why did this end quickly? I felt like Andrew had plenty to say yet!
Ended just like the hype with all the great news it's being getting 😂
I think some editing needs to be done on this one Chris. It was ended abruptly
dude has a creepy smile.
Had you bought in when he bought in you'd be grinning too. The jokes on you pal.
@beverlyhills7883 there's 1000s of opportunities in the market at any time. To assume my capital stood still in the meantime is asinine.
Great discussion! Very interesting, I must say Emanuel Datt is my favourite of all the people you interview!
He's a conman and you fell for it
