Toyota Thailand officially introduced the latest generation Toyota Yaris Ativ 2022, or in Indonesia as the Toyota Vios. In addition to the completely changed design, this compact sedan was also designed by Daihatsu using the DNGA platform.
Its dimensions are larger than the previous model based on technical data released by Toyota. This latest Vios has a length of 4,425 mm or 5 mm longer than the previous model, a width of 1,740 mm (wider by 10 mm), and a height of 5 mm to 1,480 mm.
The look of the latest Toyota Vios is now much sportier when compared to the previous generation, which tends to have a lot of rounded design lines.
The front is similar to the Toyota Camry XV50, with Toyota's signature design language, the Keen Look. Headlights with a sharp design, complete with LED technology.
Moving to the side, the design is made in the style of a fast back, the C pillar is made larger with additional glass that connects to the D pillar.
While on the back, all lights already use LEDs, turn marker lights use a sequential model.
Entering the inside of its cabin, passengers are greeted with bright interior colors. Using red material upholstery, making the interior feel sporty as well as luxurious.
There are some Daihatsu 'breaths' on the dashboard, let's call it the steering wheel which is similar to the latest Daihatsu Rocky and Sirion. Then digital air conditioning panels, hazard light buttons, electric parking brakes.
The head unit already uses a touch screen with a 9-inch floating model, and is equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay features. Oh yes, it can be seen that the use of ambient light seems to be able to change its color according to the owner's wishes.
Other features, Toyota Vios has been equipped with air purifier, smart keyless, 6-airbags safety features, HAS, VSC, traction control, brake assist, emergency stop signal, and Toyota Safety Sense (TSS).
