The funny thing about your pursuits in life is you want to succeed. Success depends upon the outcome of your hard work at your job. If you put in the hard work, you can expect the best outcome possible. Happiness is an emotion we usually associate with having fun. When keep doing the same thing time and again, the novelty often wears off and the initial joy we derived diminishes. One thing you can do is have a diversion that provides you with a change of pace. Maybe you do yoga or engage in cooking or watching French cinema. This type of change of pace helps you to recharge your batteries or refresh your zest for playing the violin. You know the process is all consuming. Because of this you know you can easily burn yourself out. But violin forces you to be mindful and that is good. It helps you know your limits so you don't burn yourself out. So you can control your ability to be happy by monitoring how your doing emotionally in terms of energy so you know it is time to take a break. You can take the time to process your emotions so you don't get anxious or down on yourself. This is how you can maintain a balanced life. To me this is the definition of happiness. Vibes are rather superficial and won't help you answer difficult questions. By doing the work of addressing your feelings and being with yourself you can't change reality but you can change how you feel about the reality that you live in. That's the best anyone can do and you can be very happy you have the capacity and willingness to stay in touch with your feelings. Do I make sense?

Hi Jina good to see you again. Best wishes that you will get through your rough patches in life. I have past my prime years and in my senior years, then it finally dawned on me that it is really a miracle that humans can endure so much trials and tribulations to reach a ripe old age. God bless.

Hi J! It's so good to see you are still active on this platform. I've missed quite a few of your recent videos, but i'll be sure to catch up :). I've been going through a rough time myself lately, but things are looking up for me now. I've put the violin down for quite a few months and this rough patch has made me want to pick it up again. Your video is inspiring me to pick it up again as well. I appreciate you so much and wish nothing but the best for you. You're always welcome to reach out to me if you ever need anything. Looking forward to more videos of yours. ☺

I love Bach and Bach loves double stops. Do you have any tips for double stops ?. I sometimes have trouble with the E string screeching a bit when playing both A and E together. Other string combinations do not give me this problem.

That was so eye opening .One off my goals in my violin playing is to be able to make my E string sing like, like you do Its almost angle like , as you your self must be an angle, , If I think I am not going to have a good day I put on one off your videos and my spirit lifts up , and the need to play and inprove my playing burns so deeply inside me, you not have such a great talent to play but your talent to teach , in a way even I can understand , is amazing , so have a great day from Murray here in NewZealand

When I get real old and no longer hear, the two sounds I will miss the most, are the sound off your beautifull violin, and the other will be your lovely voice, the worst will be if , I go blind, and can no longer see your beautifull smile and bright shinning eyes ,I hope I one day can make my E string sing like yours, mine seems to screech

Wow that was so easy,to understand, answered so many , things I have wonderd about, and no one has answered in a way ,really understood but you have . Here in NewZealand it has just turned Spring , and opening up the blinds in the morning, lets the sun shin in and brighten my day, But nothing brightens, my day as much as ,watching one off your, videos, and listening to your bright shiny voice , take care thanks very much , and have a great day , I will just me my violin, and your video
