This is the most magnificent film. Imagine a film made just two years after I was born in 1946. And I have just turned 78 two days ago I downloaded it to watch again and share

This dragged too slowly for me & the acting & speech was too stilted. I bailed at 15 minutes.

Die Politiker in Deutschland sollten sich schämen, dass es immer noch keine Gesetze zur Sterbehilfe gibt so wie in der Schweiz oder in Belgien. 😮 Bei Arte gibt es eine gute Dokumentation dazu ❤👍👍👍😊. Der Film zieht mich von Anfang an in seinen Bann da es auch ein Thema ist das mich ganz persönlich betrifft ❤😊. This is a wonderful film. It was made 12 years before I was born so my likin is not due to nostalgia. I'm pretty sure the production company is the one that made "Rebecca". The script is perfect and the photography beautiful. It works perfectly in black and white.

Incredible movie; Excellent interweaving of peripheral storylines.

I have a 1940s edition of the Robert Nathan book. The film (As they do) revises parts of it - but; in my opinion, for the better. One example is that in the book, others such as Gus and the Landlady both see and talk to Jennie. I don`t think that would have worked in the filmed version.

18.11.2024 nachts. Nachteule 😊. Zufällig angeboten bekommen. Die Kommentare geben mir die Hoffnung auf einen guten Film. Die Schauspielerin Kunzendorf sehe ich sehr gerne. Topp. Die Filme aus der Zeit um die 2015 waren im Gegensatz zu den meisten heutigen Filmen ohne Belehrungen. Besonders die heutigen Tatorte ARD sehe ich mir aus der Sicht schon länger nicht mehr an. 😮 Also los geht's. 👍Fazit : Ein superspannender Film auf einem Gebiet, wo wir als Eltern unsere eigenen Erfahrungen gemacht haben in einer Zeit in der diese Thematik sagen wir eine untergeordnete Rolle gespielt hat, bei unseren Kindern schon wohl. Also Vergleiche sind da und möglich. 😊 Ich bin gespannt. Ein sehr heikles aktuelles Thema, zumal in unserem Bekanntenkreis eine junge sehr gute Hebamme, die noch in einem Krankenhaus arbeitet, davor steht den Weg zu gehen, gerade aber die explodierenden Versicherungsprämien Hemmnisse darstellen. 😮 Hochspannung. Als Laie......!!!!!.... finde ich sehr kompetent, schnell und effektiv reagiert fern von Rechthaberrei oder Kommerz. 😊 Ich finde die Vorwürfe unangemessen und unfair. 😮 😊 Es ist immer wieder eine Abwägung die mit Risiken verbunden ist, einer Entscheidung und damit auch Verantwortungsuebernahme bedarf und das sofort. Sehr sehr bewegend und gut gespielt. 👍👍😊❤️. Es taucht ein weiteres existenzbedrohendes Problem auf. 😮Die Rolle der Medien wird thematisiert und die ist nicht unerheblich. 😮Es gibt keine Schuld finde ich. ❤️ Ein großartiger Film 👍👍👍❤️😊.Danke für die Einstellung dieses Films und weiter solche tollen Ideen und herzliche Grüße unbekannterweise. ❤️👍😊. One of my favorites. I have the cd and also saved on TV. Ghost and Mrs Muir and I remember mama.

Before I saw the movie I read the book! My Dad loaned it to me when I was about 12. I was so fascinated by the story! I’m now grown up and both my parents are gone and so is the book. I’ve been looking on line like crazy trying to find a copy to no avail. Tomorrow is my mom’s Bday and last night I saw this movie on my feed!!! Thank you Amelia! It’s like a little gift from above 🥰
