I need to see one of these one day. Must be so cool to see these heritage locos and carriages on the move
It is, I'll give you a heads up for the next one
@QuinnsVictorianTrains thanks!
@Comeng17 No problem
Nice
YOur videos are goated
Thank you
Ah yes, my favourite youtubers video
Thanks Tate :)
Lovely video
Thank you!
What day was this
The date is in the title
The VLs look good in that Railfirst livery
I was there!
Cool
Nice
Do trains still load here
Yes they do, but in the other direction from what I observed.
I wonder if that's the first time P20's been over the flyover, at least since it was upgraded.
I think P20 took the flyover on the 707 Maldon tour
nice video mate
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
at first i thought that was too few carriages for four locos, but then you have to consider those coils of steel are so dense and heavy each one weighs about the same as a prime mover
👌
💚💚🌟🌟. Hi there, my friend! That was such an intriguing video! Thanks for sharing it. I really liked it! 👍 Can't wait for your next videos! 🙂
Thank you very much! I'm very glad to hear you enjoyed!
Which station were you at ???
It's filmed at multiple stations, which are Middle Footscray, Albion, Aircraft, Newport, Sunshine, Laverton, and on top of the Newport bike locker. some of these are seen multiple times in the video.
Awesome video!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Awesome shot at 14:10! Was that the North Melbourne flyover?
It was! That was taken on my train home, I missed it at footscray by about 30 seconds.
@@QuinnsVictorianTrains That's a shame
@@kclassproductions It was, but I still got a few good shots during the day at least
@@QuinnsVictorianTrains Yeah!
We reached 7 really fast! And I don't believe I've ever actually successfully filmed a freight train before, so I have to congratulate you on seeing this many!
We have! Next school holidays I'll send you a dm when I'm going out with mates to film freight if you want to join us
@@QuinnsVictorianTrains Thanks! Hopefully I'll be available that day!
You did the 100 Seconds thing again!!!!
Whoops, sorry about that
Bro why does the Thanks for watching last over a minute and a half lol
I meant to make it 10 seconds but made it 100 seconds my mistake lol
@@QuinnsVictorianTrains lol
Good one Quinn, Pa. 😀
Thank you!
Egg
Lol
I miss the V/Line N Class locomotive hauled train to and from Bairnsdale 😢😢😢
I do too
0:16 that person sounds like me lol. Sadly wasn't there.
The end of an era :(
Sad, but true
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
When was the Tait ride open day in the vid?
It was Sunday the 4th of August, for the AMRA model railway show.
Signal box
yes
Nice!
Thanks!
You got some great shot mate!
Thanks you very much! Hope you enjoyed :)
@@QuinnsVictorianTrains I did enjoy!
@@kclassproductions Great to hear!

No
love the shot at the Eltham trestle bridge, awesome video!
Thank you very much, glad to hear you enjoyed!
Did you see that Tangara and N Class? They were cool!
I did! I'll have to grab an N class when they come out
@@QuinnsVictorianTrains I will, if I can afford it...
What stations are these at?
West Footscray, Middle Footscray & Williams Landing
😮 so much graffiti 😢
I did that! I actually saw a thing that appeared in a Quinn's Victorian Trains video! That's rare
Congratulations!
Thank you very much!!
2:55 where is this? Near sunshine?
It's near Albion. The Albion station is next to the grain silos that can be seen behind the bridge.
@@QuinnsVictorianTrains oh so one of those is the Albion-Jacana line?
@@Comeng17 The track the G class went onto is the Albion end of the Albion-Jacana freight loop
@@QuinnsVictorianTrains ok
Rizz
❤❤❤❤
I've got a question, how does the Gippslander accomplish the "slow-train" thing on a relatively well used section of line. Like that thing would be competing with V/Line trains, and I doubt there are that many passing loops that allow overtaking. Does it do it overnight or something?
The gippsland line is mostly, if not entirely double track, so regular services can over take it. for example, this tour made a stop at Taradale, to allow vline services to pass.
@@QuinnsVictorianTrains so there are regular passing loops then
Just feels surprising that a double track line would have that many passing loops
@@Comeng17 The line might be bi-directional, so regular trains can just pass on the other line, regardless of direction
K183 sounded like a steaming kettle for much of the day
It did. It was due to the locomotives compressor being damaged, allowing steam to escape and I have heard a couple of other things needed work too.
10:21 An N Class!
it was a good day.
it was
@@QuinnsVictorianTrains W day
Only 1 Comeng and all Siemens, so Sandringham? I'm surprised there are any comengs, clearly obeying the schedule isn't top priority
This is almost completely one place, except for the last train
Yeah, I know. I have sequels to this video that are in more places
