I read an amazingly detailed account of the sighting of Sukie in the room she haunts in a Readers Digest probably in the mid 60's - I'll never forget it. The story was written by a researcher named Jahn Robbins who decided to stay in the pub in that room before he went to a local university the next day. Robbins didn't believe in ghosts until he both felt and saw Sukie that night...

@londonluke6487 ah on up on the corner of plaistow high street? Plaistow was my home town I lived on queen's road west miss it some times
@aaroncooper779 Hi Aaron. Yeah, that's the one + the little seafood shop that was next to it "has all been done up to." Ah rite, you'll know & remember the area well then. I still live in Plaistow = its changed a lot over the last 10+ years "So many new-builds going up" its made parts of it unrecognisable.
These new flats are why the bloody council tax keeps raising
@@Denstar2002 Exactly Denstar!! & they're going up all over the place + are put up so quickly! I'm no fan of modern architecture like that tbh. + like rising costs less.

At that time, George III was still the king of Great Britain, and I would like to say that all these actions took place 5 years before the birth of Prince Albert (King George VI).

thats great thank you. i grew up near Gads hill , His neighbour in Gads Hill was a wealthy Australian Sea Captain from Goldmines or something. they had disputes over letterboxes and water wells if i got that correct, its tragic about his children didnt know that. I think you can do tours of Gads hill they used to do them only a couple of days in a year as its now a school. He also lived Broadstairs. thank you Luke Happy New year!
@hellokitty-h2x7s Hi there. Ah rite "a lovely area, to have grown up in." Now that's interesting = he seems to have had a few disputes "throughout his life." Bloody awful = infant & child mortality "was horrendous in the era before antibiotics & child vaccinations etc." I didn't know it either tbh, not until I visited the museum & did the research, for this video. Ah rite, that'll be interesting = to visit Gads Hill "I'll look into that, thanks." Broadstairs, is a beautiful part of the country = always seems to have drawn authors & poets, funnily enough. Excellent stuff your vid only came up on my feed so will have to watch more 👍 There is another morden suspect you should look at Charles Cross/Lechmere.
