Hi! Thanks for watching and I’m so sorry that happened to you! Honestly it’s like that a lot with some of the people at Disneyland, they’re just trading solely to trade “up” so they can resell. For me I’ve learned to keep a “value” in my head about the pins I have so I remember how much it’s worth. I also remember to have my phone with me and ask questions about the pin I’m interested in. “Where’s this pin from? Is it from a mystery set? Is it LE or LR?” I also use that info to look up the pin on eBay or Mercari to see how much the going rate it is. Sometimes it may seem that it’s a rip off but on the flip side they may of traded that pin for a higher value at the time and the value went down at the time. Or that specific pin to them is worth more in their opinion. So yes big things are asking questions, looking up the pin on your phone, and also if you’re not 100% willing to give up that pin and feel something is off or not worth it, it’s ok to say no to them ☺️

@@Kris10Banci Thank you so much for responding!!🙏🏼 Yeah I need to keep that in mind too and really need to remember values. And have ebay open, sometimes it’s hard to do it with talking though and I hate to be that person that is like “it’s sold for this on ebay so I can only do blah blah” You know? But think you have to at some point. And yes, some people get pins at so many different prices points and which means they can’t give it up low. I was watching one of your videos yesterday from maybe a year ago and pin prices were so cheaper LOLL I was like these prices!? 😅 But Thank you so much for the tips🙌🏼 I am going to the park on Sunday, so hopefully I can make some trades!

@@Kris10Banci I went on Saturday and Sunday for a little bit. On Saturday, I was overwhelmed by how packed and busy it was so I ended up sitting down in a corner with a friend while my husband made 1 trade we made pre-trading arrangements for 😅😅 On Sunday, I knew the size of crowd to expect so my anxiety was much better! lol We honestly only traded for what we needed and came back. Maybe 1hr 30min? My husband and I didn't get any virtual queues so we were so grateful to have found all the pins I needed except for one. Next time, you should totally try it out!! Are you going to WDW After Dark Pin Event next month?

I got so much anxiety that weekend😣😭 glad you were able to get the pin you wanted and some trades in!! Next time I def want to go to the Hilton trading party lol and I would need a hotel! I haven’t been to wdw yet! I know I want to!

Omg I can’t imaging how that was 😭 and that was the same for the Star Wars panel! All the CMs had diff answers in regards to where and when we line up😖

We even had some CMs accuse us of lying when we had said that another CM told us different instructions (one said we could line up, one said we couldn't). eventually one CM admitted to making a mistake and it was kind of sorted in the end... I think I got lucky though, tons of people missed out
