Whalley bass fight HARD. Saw a smallie jump four feet and throw the jig. The bass don't run big, though. I suspect not a lot of baitfish available.
I'm going to fish further along the Duffins Creek after I saw your video!
I assume you're referring to the salmon run video. Good luck out there!
I also live in Ontario & love fishing (especially Nipissing) Wish i had friends more like u boys, all my buddies don't get it. Fun vid!
Thanks for watching @shellbacksclub. Just let your buddies know that it's a guys weekend...with the added bonus of catching a few fish!
Man , Congrats on being a Dad, Somehow missed this Video until now, Always loved your channel, always wanted to Try Walleye Lake
Thanks @molsonman100! Whalley lake was fun, but I think there's better opportunities in that area, to be honest
I go to Tornadoes on the pickerel river. It’s a great place up there
I think that is where we rented a boat. Would love to get back there sometime!
Yes they do rent boats there and have a scenic plane ride for a fee….. done that 2x now
I first fished Wasaksina Lake nearly sixty years ago. Good to see the fishing is still good.
Wow, 60 years, that's awesome! I hope I'm lucky enough to be able to say the same someday.
@@ontarioadventures9163 I was about 12 if I remember it right, went in there with an old trapper named Abe Booth. He had a cabin on the east arm and I stayed there a number of times. I may if I'm lucky get back there once again.
Releasing fish when they are bleeding doesn't make any sense
Depending on where they're bleeding from and how much, they can still survive.
Buddy that old school reel in the 2nd clip is wicked, hell yea dude
Nice video guys 😎👍🏻👍🏻 Hello from Erie 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Hello 👋. Thanks for watching
I would love to visit with you as we are going to be at Cleveland lake with Eddie in July of 24' We are repeat costumers and usually fish Irwin but due to schedules we are headed to Cleveland and I am hopeful for some information
Hi Kirk. Not sure I know about those lakes
With the Chinook fishing it's always powerful and unpredictable fight. But good ang long lasting memories though!
You got that right!
the fish at 4:00 was a Atlantic salmon. last ive heard, theyve been stcoking them to try and get the population going again on lake onterio. that would explain the tracking tag.
New subscriber here. Wicked video. What kind of fish was that tagged one?
To ne honest, I'm not 100% sure. I thought they were all rainbow trout but I've been told some are salmon. Thanks for the sub!
@@ontarioadventures9163 looked like a baby atlantic
What time is best to fish for salmon and trout at port Dalhousie?
I really don't know much about port Dalhousie, only been there once. From what I know, spring is the best time though
Great videos man. For these tip ups are you running 2 or 3 minnows ? And how many feet of line between? How far off bottom is the deepest? Cheers
Thanks for watching. We use two minnows. Bottom one is about a foot up and the other is usually 3-5 feet up from there.
@@ontarioadventures9163 thanks!
Thank you for sharing. This place has a lot of good core values,
Thanks for watching
What time of year ?
September
Although it is not illegal to do so in Ontario, i find it highly unethical to disturb fish that are spawning. You guys just reduced the chances of these salmon to reproduce successfuly to NIL. I hope you guys stay away from the redds in the future. Give'em a chance to reproduce.
If you don't know your kinds of fish you shouldn't be fishing
Which ones are you referring to Steven?
@@ontarioadventures9163 he’s talking about Pickereyes
Youre catching Walleye not Pickerel. Canadians like to call walleye "pickerel" but pickerel are apart of the Esox and Walleye are the largest of the Perch family.
The first fish was a Walleye dumbass.. lmfao.. second fish was a Walleye also..
Thank you for sharing. I am suppose to be there in june for the first time and I don't know if you where trolling in 100, 150 feet deep. I usuly fish Whitby in August for steelhead in 250 feet +. Thanks
Thanks for watching Luc. We typically are in 100-150 feet. Best thing to do is check out some message boards around the time you're heading out and see what people are reporting. Good luck!
Great video gents! Keep them coming!
Thanks! Will do!
That poor net won't be long for it
Well done, I miss lake Simcoe for jumbo perch....
Nice video. I've lived here in Magnetawan 35 years.
What a beautiful place to live. Any tips on where to find walleye in lake Cecebe?
@@ontarioadventures9163 I've caught them in the river where you were but you could try the ledge at echo rock. The north shore by Crozier's saw mill is good for trolling . Some nice pike there.
Great catch, I fish Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay for some big salmon, I get some nice catches n video as well Cheers 🎣🇨🇦🎥
Awesome video, where were you at exactly? South shore, North shore? Thanks and keep them coming!
Always on the south shore. Cheers
Oh yes the Mercury Sea Pro,
I love the Temagami region, such a hidden gem in Ontario!
No argument here. It's a beautiful area!
That’s fucking illegal buddy ticket will be in the mail
Lol you mad bro?
ez ticket from the game warden when u stand there. From experience they let me go off with a warning
Thanks joker. I wasn't aware when I was there. Cheers
the fun is that we can enjoy nature while fishing in a beautiful and very fun nature....
what kind of bait? spoons, spinners?
Plastic minnows
new subscriber here!!nice catch boss
Thanks for the sub!
hey lil drew dont ask the bait that he is using
Nice salmon fishing video
Thanks for watching
Hi...may i know the name of this fishing spot and timing to go there to catch ?
any river that empties into lake ontario will have salmon running in august - september. Oshawa Creek, Ganaraska river and so on will have thousands of fish swim upstream
Hey cool vid. Was this late September?
Those fish at approximately the 9:00 minute point were all on beds, just saying. I like to catch fish as well. Some people fish beds some do not. No hard feelings. I enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the tip M. We always follow the regulations, but that's good to kni. Thanks for watching
Man i gotta say ive watched about 4 of your videos from various lakes and i love your content, I wanna get into making vids like this too
Go for it Brian. Watching other youtubers is exactly what motivated me to start making videos. Thanks for watching
You guys are just releasing the fish? I fish lake Michigan, bringing those fish up from the deep cold water shocks them, releasing them after being caught pretty much guarantee's they'll not survive. Even more so after man handling them. That's why I ask.
thats a nice spot but im terrified to go there because of the power generator like 50m away
Awesome video. We may be going there tomorrow. How do you know if a fish has parasites?
Hi Melissa. Sometimes you can see it on their skin, but sometimes you can't be sure. I've noticed that many fish on this lake have them though. If you catch a pickerel (walleye) it should be safe
What kind of reels are you using ?? Drags seem awfully sticky on them ???
Hi Steven, thanks for watching. This is my buddy's boat and rods, so I'm ot quite sure about the equipment.
NICE video. I have a small boat like yours. Have a Smoker Craft 16 footer. Sure would love to see a closer look how you have rod holders etc set up. PM me at Steven Eddy
Hey Steven, it's my buddy's boat, so hard for me to do that. Next time he invites me out I'll try to get some more footage of the setup.
Nice job dude! Subbed. Sweet outboard, too.
Thanks for the sub!
No pickerel in Magnetawan, the species you’re referring to is actually a Walleye!
at 7:30 that is 100% a pike
I just went tosay
What is the address
69 Salmon Street, Toronto, Ontario.
what time of the year was this just wondering and maybe water temperature good day of fishing
This was early September. Can't recall water temperature though. Cheers
