can you play korn on a four string?
@@TheMailman-k5w I replaced all 4 original bass strings with strings for a 5-string bass. (5,4,3,2 from 5 string bass > 4,3,2,1 ) Not exactly great, but not bad either.

Could you please answer a question for me? Is there a risk of the strings breaking when tuning the bass? Well, it's not very reliable on my bass, I believe.
You should set up bass for lower drop tuning. Trust Rod and nut that you can set it by yourself. (it easy for warwick bass to do) My bass is use no 5-2 of 5 strings bass to replace old strings. Hope it helpful.
No way you can break strings by tuning down. You could safely tune a whole step up from EADG without worries. If a string breaks tuning up a step, it's a shit string. You'll need at least a .130 gauge string for the low A, though. That's why it's originally on a 5-string. Lower than .130 gauge and you'll have a very loose string that won't have the punch and bass, but all the noise from the frets and aggressive playing.
