Hey guys, I have a quick question when it comes to building up a portfolio. What is the best way to fill up my portfolio with websites without having to actually host to websites and having to pay for the hosting about those portfolio website. The reaon why I am asking this is because I do not want to have to pay for the hosting of the site just to be able to add it to my portfolio.

I have over 20 years of freelance website and graphic design experience, have used SquareSpace for several years and I know HTML and CSS... Think my time to learn Webflow would be much less than 6 months?

Did the Reflect trial but I don’t believe the current feature set is worth the subscription. Ended up going with Capacities instead.

How did you get them cards to just stick to your monitor like that? Or are they sticky on one side? I feel ike I'm being silly hear but that's such a simple and neat way to keep it infront of you.

I was all over the place in different ecosystems that when i wanted to find something i could not find it or complicated everything instead of being productive. Also, i had subscriptions models all over the place. I did some hard soul searching and decided to go from Evernote to Apple Notes, from Microsoft 365 Office to Apple's native Pages and Numbers etc.. All my hardware is Apple so sticking with native apps for peace of mind.

Has their been any new programming languages that are in more design for web designing ? Im coming from a backend position.

I really like the concept of anti-fragility. Will definitely check out all your recommendations I just finished reading The Life-changing Manga of Tidying Up: A Magical Story Author: Marie Kondo & Yuko Uramoto [Illustrator] & Cathy Hirano [Translator] This is a self-help manga which is the graphic novelization of the book: The Life-changing magic of tidying up. It outlines the process of tidying in a simple and very doable way by incorporating it into a story about a woman who is a failure at romance and tidying. There is humour, wisdom and useful tips for organization.

Lovely books, will give them a read. Especially the antifragile one sounds interesting. Two great books I read lately are: - Flip Thinking: The Life-Changing Art of Turning Problems into Opportunities - The Tao of Pooh

This is a great video! I'm in the process of studying and gaining the responsive web design and javascript certs from freeCodeCamp, and I was wondering where to start applying myself after getting these done and really familiarizing myself with the foundations of web design/development. I'm thinking about Webflow, but you mentioned Framer and how it's emerging as a top contender for tech companies and startups. I'll be deep-diving into both of these and learning as much as possible, while trying to create a portfolio and eventually market myself. Thanks for sharing all of this with us 😉
