Fighting yourself is a huge pain, especially at upper levels. I'm surprised that you didn't try to love injection your dupe. I think there's even an achievement for falling in love with yourself. 😆

I haven't gotten through all the episode yet, but when I have high DV on myself, I use Freeze grenades to take care of anti-players.

What is the replay value of this game? - Is this game recommendable overall?

I would recommend some exploring on the left side of the map, youll get better armor that has more artifact slots and psi protection with higher physical protection as well, also techs will be able to upgrade your weapon upgrades ,that the others cant.can't. I also agree with the explanation of the monolith storyline, they did this and the characters behind the group really well.

Soldering really isn't terribly difficult. I had a few old busted motherboards that I didn't care about and used them to learn how to solder. I will say though, don't cheap out on a soldering iron. I cheaped out for a while and kept complaining about struggling to get the solder to melt properly every time but finally when I got a good iron, a Hakko, I suddenly had no issues at all getting solder to melt properly. It made my life so much easier. Check out Louis Rossman, he repairs MacBook and does a lot of Right to Repair work. He's a good dude.

Use the radar and beat the bosses. You make it so much harder by trying to beat the third area before completing the previous ones. The third area is balanced for 4 gadgets.

Your final build here looked really good, but for each level you took of the armorless perk raised your encumberance so your speed was heavily cut, reducing your attacks and moves, slowing your healing and time to kill. Overall really liked the build and items

On the subject of dashing: remember that a successful dodge also moves you pretty far in a direction, which would take some fuel anyway. Usually a dodging dash takes less fuel than getting hit + moving the length of the dash

You should go check footage from your very first dive so you can see how dramatically worse the torpedos were. Glad you got lucky with Lamia, helps balance out some misfortunes. There are only 2 cherries on long form games that might force a replay: Pilot Quest, and #37 (that game is awesome though, I didn't mind)

The light is the best power-up because is unlocks the awesome music in the depths.

Fire Suppression before going into the Asphalt Mines is a good idea.

Game is great as it is right now, only will get better hopefully. Also on PC there are good number of mods already. My favorite are the weight mods, allowing me to just grab everything from corpses and move on. I know inventory management is a big thing in Stalker games, but I find it tedious and its offends my hoarder instincts.

How do you select mutations when you get 4 mutation points? They don't change on reload, but you said there is another way...what is it?

The wildest historic site I've encountered so far is one that was chock full of Star Krakens. I have not and will probably never use the pickaxe as much as I did with that one.

Only problems ive had so far has been Rostok... Keeps crashing. And right at the end as you going down, the ememys here just spawn right next to you, sometimes right Infront of you. So hopefully the ending part will be fixed and Rostok. Other than that im loving the exploration and controversy liking the OP enemy's. Forces you to use cover and change positions for a real tense fire fight .

I totally agree with you on the whole "problems" people have with this game. I don't see it. I am 36 and this game got me into gaming like the good old days. I faded because of the disappointing games that have been released over the last 6-8 years. People don't even enjoy games no more; they just try and complete as fast as possible and that's not how you enjoy a game. I STILL haven't completed my first playthrough story because I will finish everything available before completing the story. Throwing main quest as I progress, so I can enjoy everything it has to offer BEFORE completing. Now as performance issues I have not had one problem. I run a blocked 5800x3d and blocked 6950xt in 1440 Native and it runs great. I find a lot of people's issue are user caused. A PC is not a console, you don't start it up press play n that's it. Does not work that way. 16 gig cards will run better than 12 gig cards. It might say you are running 11 g of vram but I promise you it will spike over here n there and will cause major stutters in some causes to possible crashing. I have seen my spike to 15 on occasion at 1440 so you can bet there could be performance issues with a 12 gig. Another thing I would like to throw out there, Frame Gen. Running it with a card with more vram makes a difference. If you have the vram, running it you will not see a lot of the issues most people complain about with frame Gen and that's because you don't have the vram to use it and thus get these problems, ghosting artifact, etc. In my specific setup, if I turn frame Gen on in STALKER I get 109-113 frames at 10-13ms with is on par with frames to frame time maybe a milisec or two higher BUT that an average and blah blah but my point is on native it runs 12+ average sometime lower sometimes higher depending but with FG I have seen it spiked to 15 and quarter plus on VRAM so using FG make sure your card has enough vram and to monitor your card as it runs. Sorry blabbing. But STALKER 2 is the greatest and I hope they enjoy it as much as I do. Drew from BeanieBro's. Good Content. Complainers Beware lol.

I didn't have too many problems, and the 3 patches fixed about 90% of the issues most people had. Those Vortexes are the only anomaly that are a pain. Almost anytime I step into one, it hard crashes my PC, leaving me no choice but to hold down the power button, shut down, and restart my PC. It's a total pain.

So painful watching him dump into dex for a dodge chance that was being eaten by his berserk stats.

as someone that has +17 years of experience playing stalker and also works in software development I would like to share few things. 1. a game working with well known and common engine at the same price point as it's AAA competition will always be compared, if Unreal 5 can give you a stable and very nicely optimized experience on Remnant 2 I don't see why similar thing can't be achieved in other games. 2. skipping a rant ... the level of bugs in Stalker 2 are on a level of Bethesda games. The fact you have to install a workaround for bugs/soft locks, remind me off setting quest states or toggling no clip in Fallout/Elder Scroll games. 3. I agree that expecting Stalker 2 to have the depth of projects like GAMA or Anomaly is something I personally never expected, with that said what is expected in any development is to keep existing functionality and build on top off it ... the lack of night vision been one example I can point at in Stalker 2. Stalker had a very troubling development, and I respect the effort it took to pick it up and push for product release. I personally feel however that the team could have been more transparent with the customers regarding the game state as well as setting a more reasonable approach to the release, for example as Early access.

TLDR: Its garbage.

"Flat" is the ammo for sniping, because the trajectory acrs less.

my complaint is i need to start the game twice every time. first time will freeze. second time ill get an error but runs fine. also for some reason i cant get more then 60-70 fps. i have a 7900xt and a 7700x cpu whats the issue with the game or my gpu?

Game has alot of bugs, quest bugs are the worst but I still love the game, I like the gp37 the best!

I had that issue with the door in Zaton, it sorted itself out after an emission. Seems like an NPC is blocking the doorway or something and the emission makes everyone skidaddle

Mutant loot is probably my favorite mod. It's a game changer. People forget the original games were pretty much buggy messes with low performance (at the time) all improved by modders and advancements in CPU/GPUs, I love the original games and A-life, so I'm hoping we can get a real A-life in S2 at some point. Still love the new game tho

the game has to many bugs and the performance is just to bad, most would say even rating the game a 7 out of 10 is being generous. i give it a 6.5 it would be a 8 or 9 if it wasn't for how bad the optimization is. yes the game is being made in a war, but this game has been in development for many year' before the war even broke out so some things is understandable like some bugs and stuff but performance is not this is literally in the top 3 worst performing game's in the last 2 year's it is really bad. the reason that it is unacceptable is because more than most people are either on 30 series or older or AMD 6k series or older. and even if you are on 40 series or 7k series gpu's you still get less than desirable performance even while having a powerful card to run this game at 1440p 60 fps with just upscaling you have to have a 800 dollar gpu either a 4070 ti super or a 7900 xt, and for 1080p you have to have a 600 dollar rtx 4070 or a 7800xt to get a solid 60 fps experience without upscaling at 1080p at high settings not even epic settings btw. the performance of this game kills it more than any other thing going on with it. and that isn't counting the beefy CPU's that need to be paired with these beefy GPU's.. that's why this game don't deserve any awards or a high rating. its a 6 or 7 at best. if they fix some performance problem's then it will definitely be a 8 or 9. giving devs high praise when a game's performance is this bad only enables them to give you more of this in the future because you let them by with it once. their is alot of people that cant afford the latest and greatest parts. but the people that can are also not happy with performance like this. people don't pay 800+ dollars for hardware to barley run 60 fps. a 4090 is a monster GPU and it cant even hit a consistent 60 fps at 4k upscaled, and it is the only gpu that can hit 60 65 fps at 1440p native without upscaling. lumen and nanite should not be mandatory it should be optional. that is 2 of the worst things you can use in game's the performance hits in game's is to massive even on higher end system's games that have it most the time go unchecked because they look good but they cost to much performance for people to want to use.

Artifacts is the most OP mechanics. And you missed 1 special artifact in the Lesser Zone, i suggest to pick ut up when you're nearby.

It's not enough! Personally I wish sleep and hunger penalties were stricter and I wish we had to scavenge for bolts. Plus weight isn't realistic. I'm a sucker for punishment and I can't wait for mods to become available on console so I can do a proper anomaly run

They are speaking Ukrainian. They were speaking russian in previous games. As all Ukrainians know 2 languages, the game was distributed to russia and Belarus too. But since russians invaded Ukraine claiming that everyone who speaks russian is a russian... you get the point. Also russian language was forced onto people during the Soviet Times. In Lithuania people were executed for speaking Lithuanian.

The torpedo upgrades feeling small is the reason that zelda games have heart pieces instead of each one giving you a quarter heart of max health. They are super impactful over time--just the difference between each one and the next is barely noticable

You found a hard progression item a while ago and never remembered how to get back to it because you lost track of where it was...tragedy. Hope you start enjoying this one more again once you get back on the scent I bet the recording pressure is making it less fun for you to some extent as well.
