learn how to winch. Use a snatch block and double your power while lessening the load on your winch. I always carry an extra fifty feet of winch rope so I can double the line. Strap and clevis. If your pulling thru deep stuff like that go as high as you can reach so your pulling the front of your rig up not thru the muck. If that was cable and not rope you should have a coat or blanket on it. Without a windshield if that cable snapped it could injure you even in the cab., Be safe my friend.
