Hello. Can I ask what you mean about having an adequate amount of time for layover in Shang hai? I have a connecting flight in Shang hai which is 1 hr 30 min and I’m concerned after reading some stories this won’t be enough time. Thank you

pretty much on par with what you would get with any carrier in economy across the Atlantic. be thankful you were in the back with the 2 seats - that's the best part of the economy ride.

That's a typical AA long distance economy flight. It is what it is. I don't think you'll do much better on United or on another international carrier. If you're looking for comfort, you'll need to pay more for at least a business class seat. If that's not in your budget, you just have to deal with this as you cross the Atlantic. Being in the last row does suck. There's the premium economy section, for a bit more, at the front of the economy section, but I've seen where just being in the regular economy section is more comfortable. I once took a flight on United from Houston to Amsterdam in the regular economy section. The flight wasn't that full, except in the economy plus section where passengers "enjoyed" their extra few inches of legroom while they're all squeezed next to each other. Many of them probably got status "upgrades." I was in a row directly behind economy plus. The "peasant" section was so empty that I got all three window seats to myself. I was able to stretch out and sleep, while the economy plus passengers were packed in like sardines.

heyy just my opinion , the video could have been a bit longer and detailed , showing the boarding gates, security and check in thats unless you did online , can even get approval from the FT to film the safety demo and staff

That is a Cathay Pacific 777-300ER Aircraft they operate for Qatar Airways

The only positive I have about TAAG is their livery. If they cannot take any Pride in their cabins, you have to question their aircraft maintenance standards; they were once banned from EU Airspace. I (sadly) would not fly with them, even if free. A new airport is due to be opened in their home city of Luanda (LAD) and new aircraft orders for the A220, 787-9 and 787-10 in the pipeline, however; the airline needs to change from it"s core or it will only be a short matter of time.before their sparkling new fleet become tatty, dirty and unloved. Watch the Patrick Shea video on the appalling First Class flight he took with TAAG to Sao Paulo.

Skytrax has awarded the airline as the 14th best airline in the world in 2023. I wonder why the flight was disappointing. Anyway better than most American airlines. It’s not partner of QR, but owned by QR as the main shareholder.

Great video and review of Flysafair.Having flown Flysafair numerous times between OR Tambo Intl and George airport, i can fully agree with your statements.They are on average 92% on time and their friendly service onboard is welcoming.For a low cost airline,they have enough legroom to relax during the flight.I will always fly Flysafair, no matter what.
