I am one of the few people who I guess has seen a few episodes of Murphy Brown and hated this show. I remember this show was being advertised as the new Mary Tyler Moore show. Believe me, it wasn't. It is a very 1980's show. The show was not that well written, it was not funny and every single main character was irritating and annoying including Candice Bergen as Murphy Brown. I remember a few years ago they tried to do a reboot of this show on TV. It was very well advertised but then it just seemed to have to disappeared. Never seen a single episode of it.
Kelly is on my list of tops underrated actress's. I just love her in anything

He dated a girl at Harvard who would go on to become a cardiac surgeon and his wife.
Corky is so gratting on your nerves. She was the reason the show and the reboot failed. That and the so called new executive who replaced sweet Miles after he left for New York and his true love and wife.

Hmmm....perhaps she can REPRISE the role as Miles' mother. Kelly is now @74 years old...2 years older than Candace Bergen.
Maybe but unfortunately the reboot was cancelled. She would also have a real legal daughter-in-law named Pam and two grandchildren from that marriage of Miles and Pam.
