Leica 35mm F2 Summicron V1 (8 element) VS Chinacron (Zhou 8 element) 35 mm F2 replica lens.
This is a direct comparison of Leica 35 mm Summicron v1 (8 elements) and Light Lens Lab 35 mm F2( which is known as Chinacron/ Chinese 8 elements).
I set everything manually, and the only difference is the lens. That is to say, no difference for iso, shutter speed, white balance. And the pictures were all taken by the same Leica m240p, digital Leica M, in case there are differences caused by using different scanners while testing with film.

This is a tiny and light film camera which was produced in the golden age of point and shoot cameras, which means it is fully automatic, all you need to do is to frame the shot and press the shutter. Leica 8 element is the Legendary Leica 35 mm Summicron V1. Because the lens is quite rare nowadays, the rarity and its special characters drive the price higher and higher. Both lenses are my personal lenses, which I have used for a couple years. And they are all in like new condition, and when I took the pictures, I also removed UV filters, to maximize the accuracy of colors in the pictures. I just bought a 99% new Leica 50 mm Summilux V2. Which was produced in Germany, and it was a relatively early one. And I am surprised by its compact size and optical performance comparing to the modern 50mm Summilux. I will upload a detailed review after using it for some time. Thank you so much for watching.
