I wish Brooke was not interrupted when she talked about challenges her Mom helped her through. "Strong Mom" summary from the facilitator is not the same as Brooke telling her invaluable story. "Strong Mom" means different things to different people. The "non-medical" sides of Brooke's story are very eye -opening and most instructive and hard to get, unlike the medical and nutritional sides that are being widely explained and reiterated.

I jus loved this event thank you Joanie and Caroline this looked like a really fun event! I can't wait to read your books Caroline and revisit your experiences. When you interviewed peers from my generation early 70's. I've always said this about myself that I am in my element when I am outdoors, being on the water and boating. I jus love being in touch with nature and I enjoy every day of my life living on the first floor of my highrise and seeing nature unfold daily at ground level. The seasons unfold around me in Ontario Canada. I am forever in Living in AWE!

In the book, you will find 30 paintings, which I have painted about the 30 pieces of poetry which I have written during these 11 years.. The value of this book and what it showed to me, I am hoping it will help others realise how powerful this process, and this body of work has been for me. Sorry for going on. I feel very passionate about all of this, and what you have written about.

I’ve been doing art since I was a little girl. I am in the mist of bringing together a book. I’m an artist and a poet and my book is about an 11 yr time space in my life. I wanted to just bring this to the surface , to understand what I had lived through and how being with my artist creative self has saved ME my heart my soul my spirit. Traumas and loss were involved in these years. What I want to say, is my mind my brain was able to cope because I instinctively knew where to go to help me. Anyway, I loved loved your book, the minute I got it I read it in one day. Could you perhaps correspond with me Susan. I have so much I want to talk to you about. I missed the live feed due to the fact I was confused in the time, I live in England. I know that my book has saved my life. I would very much like to explain why this book is so important, and why I surfaced it, for others to learn from in how to flourish and survive through life’s turmoils. I was a creative art teacher for years , and I feel very passionate about why I know in schools and to children it is so important. Please can we chat. I would love this. I made TedX talk about my painting…Rocking. Still in Doncaster in 2019 and how my painting ignited my soul to survive, through ‘belittlement’..you can find it on line. Anyway …I hope we can chat further in an email. Thank you for your time. Carol Elizabeth Marshall . Thank you for writing this book.
