Your response is appreciated. I felt it was only respectful to wait before making my post hence why I waited a week and despite the time, losing ones child is the greatest loss of all. It was my time and my way to share my talent by sharing something that others will join me in praying for her and her family while shedding light on mental illness because it's real. Hello Chris. I ABSOLUTELY AGREE that “ Love is the putty that fills the cracks of life” and I love that analogy. I was also raised that being IN LOVE was the way to go. However, when you take the vow of marriage, it’s travels far beyond the feeling of love. When you talk about marriage, it’s far more important that the man loves his wife much more than the wife loving her husband. According to the scripture Ephesians 5:25, it clearly instructs the Husbands to LOVE YOUR WIVES as Christ loved the Church. It further says “HUSBANDS, do not be harsh with them in the same way, treat you wives with consideration as a delicate vessel and with honor” and if a wife finds that type of love she will love, respect and honor him to the end of the earth. The problem is that men don’t love us the way Christ loved the church. They do not treat us as a delicate vessel with delicate consideration and are very harsh more times than not yet expect us to be the humble, passive, loving, kind and soft-spoken women they want. The biblical instruction went to the man first and the instruction was “Husbands, LOVE YOUR WIVES just as Christ loved the church and do not be harsh with them. TREAT your WIVES with consideration as a delicate vessel and with honor.” Are you living up to that standard? If not then you shouldn’t expect us to live up to your vision of us being cooperative , quiet, humble, etc. If you do your part, we’ll happily do our. This means a husband is to love NOTHING more than his wife. Gods instruction was for designed the wives to SUBMIT her self into the husband that follows Gods instruction of him. You are right,I love and respect my wife to the fullest and I always want to know what's on her mind and how she feels.to me marriage is a partnership,there is no big you'd little me.im always going to say speak your mind because I don't run the relationship,we are in this together side by side.i don't mind doing for my wife because she deserves it and much more.thats why she is my wife,my queen,my friend,my everything because she earned that title.she is my ride or die and I wouldn't have it any other way.im in love with her mind and heart first everything else will follow
