Could the cross over between feeling and sensing be a fault in our language? That our human language has similar meanings for the two? And so test takers might get confused about the meaning of the question. I'm not sure if language having a tie between feeling and sensing necessarily mean the functions themselves have a stronger tie than other functions.

I am infinitely grateful that I don't have to listen to that woman's voice everyday. When she invited us to turn our attention inward, I jumped out of my skin. The information she presented was generally good. The use of pictures is stupid. Let the listener form a mental image in their mind's eye. That's called thinking.

The myth of psychological types: we put people into categories based on traits that fit those categories, and the categories are based on those same traits, then we claim this to be a science.

Hi. My 9 yr son is an ENTJ and is also EXTREMELY emotional, even though it *embarrasses him. It's like he can't control his emotions being a spirited child (he has a Cancer moon astrologically, with a Capricorn sun, noting because for me it does post value imo). Anyway, how does one parent such an extreme temperament of what they're embarrassed about, but is also what they're overpowered by originally? Great presentation btw, I've been working with your work for several years. Really phenomenal.

Thanks for making this video, it explained things simply and perfectly. I've been trying to explain this to two of my friends who think they can't be extraverts because they don't like being around people, so hopefully this will explain things more clearly for them. I use introverted thinking and extraverted feeling for my judging functions and introverted intuition and extraverted sensing for my perceiving functions.

It sounds to me that, due to a lack of focus on clearly defined cognitive functions, and an overemphasis on dichotomies like J/P, etc. to test people, a number of different types end up grouped under the same type. This then has to be explained as certain subtypes of each type.
