In my view, what makes this parasocial phenomenon within the industry so distressing is that the industry seems to thrive on exploiting the mentally vulnerable. Many of these individuals lack normal social interactions, particularly with the opposite sex, and the Talents are designed to serve as unattainable beacons of hope for such people. Many corporate Vtubers are crafted around anime stereotypes, which are inherently designed to cater to the hyperbolic fantasies and illusions that people hold about women in this genre. This setup perpetuates a cycle of unrealistic expectations and emotional dependency. This in turn leads to a myriad of issues that are bought up in the video.

I think another constructive way to encourage representation in the Vtuber community would be going out and seeking those people with darker skinned models. I'm certain there's black VArtists who've made their own models, VArtists who are able and willing to make darker skinned models, or people who've gone out of their way to obtain those darker skinned models. And if you can't find one off the back, I encourage people like Evanit0 and Shizzy to use their platform constructively and uplift these creators. I'm not saying this is a replacement for a critique/conversation about the lack of awareness in the VTuber community, but I think that'd be more effective than "I'd like to see more representation" because it gives way to meaningful representation.

Ah the devil folks method by using smear campaign. This tend proven nasty effective especialy on bigger scale entertaiment enviroment. I do remember even in western Voice acting community they did not only slander but also ruined one of their veteran actor and turn him into devil folks, too bad the consequence are a certain artifical program soon replace them all slowly but surely, not like i even feel bad since speaking from expereince, some just had it coming and deserve get smack on after getting multiple warning from fans and fellow worker to stop spout bold and unrpoven claim to people when you have high status(ie like have job or a public figure). I feel like the racism debate has no permanent solution at all, as internet anonymity exists for everyone equally. So the only thing creators can really do is moderate their comment sections and chats. Ban people who are being derogatory and offensive without remorse. Another point against shizzy is that you don't bring a rocket launcher to a table if you want a civil discussion. You bring a rocket launcher if you're okay with blowing everyone up including yourself and at that point you got all the hostility and rage coming at you. And I mean he can celebrate all he wants that his video brought out all the racists into his replies in twitter and say they were having a klan meeting in his comments section saying they just proved his point but the thing is everybody knows that there are racists, white supremacists, sexists and what have yous on the internet, we didn't need him to point that out. He just wanted to stir the pot and he achieved that, with flying colors might I add. And then we'll go back to same place we used to be at. Nothing has changed, nothing will as online content creation as a concept has existed for some 20 years and in those 20 years the only solution to racists, sexists etc that has worked is ignoring them and removing them from your community.
