The New Soupy Sales Show #12 (Partial Video)
Unfortunately the video from 17:30 was corrupted but the audio was still ok, so the last 6 minutes has no video.
Apologies.

Just a joy to watch something from a more innocent time. Love Soupy Sales!
I'm not sure who the target audience was! Either an adult show pretending to be a kiddie show or the reverse. Weirdly hilarious.
❤❤❤Loved Soupy. He made childhood bearable.
😂😂😂😂😂 I never laughed so much. I loved this show.😂😎💯
Loved soupy Sales show. God bless him.😂😂😂
Pookie Players was my favorite part of the show.
The Pookie Players were my favorite part.
Great Memories for sure.
Sheer Genius!
The very great Clyde Adler.
*I feel illuminati-ated*
This is great I didn't know he had other TV stuff, its great that I have something from Soupy to watch now, thank you!
So... this guy was the father of Hunt and Tony Sales?! WoW! 😀😃 🤘🤠👍 The somewhat delinquent pair of brothers who (on & off) were, during the 1970's and 1980's, the rhythm section for Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Todd Rundgren and studio session work for many other artists. As well as Tony's dalliance with a 'super-group' that ultimately had a false start and went nowhere with the appropriately named - "Chequered Past", with singer/actor Michael Des Barres (PowerStation), drummer Clem Burke & bassist Nigel Harrison (Blondie), guitarist Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and session bassist/guitarist Frank Infante. ✌😉👌 So yeah!? The Sales Brothers and Iggy Pop?! From what I've read they were definitely quite the handful! Boisterous, drunk, drugged and out of control! I think they got their shit together in the late 1980s...?!? 🤷♂ (I always used to get Soupy Sales mixed up with Mr. Peppermint. I mean that I used to think Soupy Sales was Gibby Hayne's dad, when I meant Mr.Peppermint! Anyway! Whatever!)
Pookie was the best part of the show.Words of wisdom was a close second.
That bit with White Fang, that was not Clyde Alder. It was someone else.
SOUPY RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel sorry for kids who didn't have the "Words of Wisdom" to guide them in later life.
Gotta love the soups!
thank you again soupy
god bless you mr sales
When I was a kid I thought he was SO funny. I was right!!!
Pookie's "singing" sounds like Wally Cox.
Soupy is all that and a bag of chips
Clyde Adler was sorely missed in this episode as the voice of Pookie and White Fang!! Whomever did those two puppets definitely cannot hold a candle to Clyde.
Me loves me some soupy
I think It's Garry Shandling's Show was heavily influenced by this.
Who was the guy singing on the piano???
IS ANYBODY STILL ALIVE FROM THE SHOW ?
Still laughing after all these years
When the jokes fell flat,it made it more the funnier
I’d love to see the one where Pookie sings Traveling Band again 😂 but I fear copyright laws may prevent it 🥺
i will always love soupy!
Where was Allen Sues's screen credit for this episode?!? He was fantastic!
OF course you all know that Ggeneral Washington" in the opening skit is played by the great voice-artist Clyde Adler, voice (and arm) and White Fang, Black Tooth, Pookie, and most of the "man at the door" characters. One of the true greats of comedy, but totally unsung. LR
Just to make sure everyone is aware: the guy who plays Soupy's assistant in the opening Egyptian skit AND the union boss at 19:50 is Clyde Adler, the brilliant voice artist who portrays White Fang AND Black Tooth AND Pookie (and many of the "man at the door" skits). One of the true greats. LR
The recipe for Peaches pie face - LOL !
4:18 anyone else's Grandmother have that type of vacuum in the 70s? They were actually 60s models, but they lasted forever! Now, you'll get about 4 years out of a vacuum cleaner.
If you're lucky
0:53 There's been Rockford Files shots filmed right there, by that "Hotel". What a time to be alive! I LOVED the 70s! Kids today will never know what living in a free society was like, when you were rarely Surveiled, instead being surveiled 24-7. Happiness is directly proportional to freedom.
The segments with Pookie and Hippie were always gold. Here they perform “the mummy” by Bob McFadden and Rod McKuen. Bob McFadden was one of the great voice actors of the time. Most probably remember him from Hal Seegers Milton The Monster.
Soupy was one of a kind! Wish this show would have lasted more than one season. Soupys 1960’s shows were mostly all destroyed so very few survive, there seems to be more of these shows from 1979 than any of them
I sure wish more of Soupys 1960’s shows were still around
“Pie Face” was one of Soupys best songs from the 60’s. I have the album it’s on.
Hilarious 😂😆
I love it good old days
I meant show #6
Me encantó nunca había visto Soupy actuar de Drácula...en mi infancia lo.miraba seguido me causaba mucha alegría.RIP Soupy Sales y gracias por esa sonrisa que nos dejaste a muchísimas personas 💖
I enjoy watching this man, he was funny in my book, I love him so much.
Watched the show in '79 when I started the 6th grade.
I remember being sick one day as a kid and staying home from school. Batman, which I loved, was always on at noon on WPIX, and at noon I turned to WPIX and this show was on instead. I'd never heard of Soupy Sales. I was like "WTF is this??" It was so unfunny. I hated this show.
sorry that you didn't understand his humor
Good-0h
