Your approach William is wise. Unfortunately in the Philippines because most people speak English, we expats assume they understand what we are saying. Not necessarily so! And we fail to allow for the cultural interpretation Filipinos place on what we say. This leads to significant confusion.

Galway , Cork , Kerry , And most of the northern teams are very strong … Dublin are still the strongest in Leinster ….

Bob my 1st 1st time living in the PI was 1980 during Marcos martial law. 2 yrs that changed my life and allowed me to find my sense of place in this big world.

I like Dumaguete but don't like the brownouts which happens from time to time.
