My experience with a home I purchased from this company was nothing short of a disaster, and I strongly advise others to avoid making the same mistake. The lack of security was a major issue-my house was broken into and flooded. To make matters worse, there was a massive stud poking out from the wall on the second floor, which had just been painted over rather than properly fixed. In contrast, a friend of mine who purchased a home from DR Horton had his grading and yard drainage issues addressed immediately, something I didn’t experience. The supposedly 'amazing' warranty turned out to be nearly useless, as it didn’t cover critical issues like poor landscaping, which led to flooding in my side yard during the rainy season with no drainage to protect the foundation. Even though these problems were present when I moved in, I was constantly told they weren’t warrantable. I felt scammed, especially after signing a waiver that prevented the builder from correcting their mistakes. The company seemed more focused on building quickly with zero quality control, as the subcontractors clearly didn’t care about the quality of their work. The second-story carpet was missing padding in many areas, leading to popping sounds and dead spaces where there was no support at all. I wouldn’t recommend this company or any of their homes-the warranty was terrible, and the construction quality was appalling. If you’re considering a new home, look elsewhere. The fact that DR Horton provides better warranties and customer service than Castle Rock speaks volumes.

I actually like seeing the “naked “ house, without all the expensive upgrades and furniture that no one can afford. I like to know exactly what I’m getting, and how it ‘really’ looks. So hopefully I can find a video of this floor plan empty, but great video non the less

I agree. If you currently own a home and your interest rate is 2.25%, I wouldn't recommend refinancing to a higher rate. It all depends on your current living conditions. If you are renting instead of burning cash, it makes the most sense to purchase a home and refinance later if the rates drop lower than they are now. Thanks for commenting!
